SEAOL league meet question

This year there are 7 teams in the league. How many places should be scored at the league meet? 8, 7, or 6 places?
If you don't score 8 places how many people should be brought to the finals. Should it be one more than the number scored like they will be doing at the state track meet this year?
The second question: since the triple jump is scheduled to be a state event in 2012 should the league hold that event?

scoring could go 10-8-6-4-2-1----relays----10-8-6-4-2-1--seven teams
seven or more teams-----10-8-6-4-3-2-1---relays---10-8-6-4-2-1
seven or more teams also---10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1----relays----10-8-6-4-2-1
this could be decided on at a league meeting or the host team---????
If it will be a state event in 2012 and this season being 2011 they should start it this season

The triple jump is not assured of being in the line-up just yet. The OHSAA has asked schools to administer the event this year to see if it does indeed add time to the length of a meet. ( It does not) The OATCCC pulled its recommendation to add the triple jump for this year.
