CINCINNATI - The Tiffin men's and women's track and field teams competed at the All-Ohio Championships, hosted by the University of Cincinnati this past weekend (April 15-16). The men finished third of five non-NCAA Division I teams and 11th overall. The TU women finished second of four non-NCAA Division I teams and sixth overall.

John Pemberton broke his own school record in the shot put that he set earlier this year. The 11th-ranked shot putter finished second overall with a throw of 56'0" (17.07 meters).

Both of these men have had good college careers to go along with their high school stats, but must we make it a contest between DI and DII etc? both of them will tell you that a great athlete rises to the occassion no matter what "level".
