SOC 2023 Girls Outlook

St. Joseph

For 2023 this team won't compete very much. It looks like the relays might be the only event they could pick up points in the SOC meet

Glenwood

Glenwood looks to be in the same boat as St Josph. Again, the relays look to be where they could pick up points

Portsmouth West

Distance..... K. Pollitt has a 3:25 800m, Pollitt has a 7:14 1600m, 3200 doesn't show much

Sprints..... H. Hutchinson will bring a 15.02 100m, Hutchinson has a 31.23 200m S. Brady has a 36.99 200, The 400m Will have K. Pollitt with a 1:36 and E. Hammonds with a 1:44

Hurdles..... Don't see much in the 100h and the 300h will see Hutchinson at 58.97

Field..... Discus has J. Sargent at 64' 08" and H. Lindsay at 44'. The shot put and the High jump won't have much, the long jump will see J. Sargent with 11' 10" No pole vault

Relays..... the 4x1 shows very little. 4x2 not much, 4x4 same has the others, 4x8 should finish in the bottom 4

South Webster

Distance..... Don't see much in the 800,1600,3200

Sprints..... The sprints won't be very strong

Hurdles..... Hurdles will be down

Field..... These events will be weak

Relays..... The 4x8 could take the conference, the other three relays should finish anywhere from fifth to eight.


Eastern

Distance..... Eastern will have a hard time putting points in the books. The relays look to be their best bet. Looks like all but the 4x2 will have a chance to place in the SOC meet

Northwest

Distance 800 will have N. Martinez with a time of 2:57 with A. Ramey at 3:15. 1600m A Cantrell has a 6:54 with M. Marcum at 7:15 the 3200m will see Cantrell at 15:07

Sprints..... 100m S. Breech with a 13.66 and P. Ramey has a 14.33. 200m will see Breech with a 29.19 and a 31.17 from J. Bowen. 400m J. Bowen with a 1:08 and H. Young with a 1:14

Hurdles Not a lot coming back in the hurdles

Field..... Discus has H. Jones with a throw of 58' 03, she will also have a shot-put throw of 25' 10' M. Marcum will have 4' 06 in the high jump, nothing in the long jump or pole vault

Relays..... I can see NW getting points in three relays with the 4x1 being the one that won't place

Oak Hill

Distance..... 800m M. Dearth will have a 3:17, the 1600m Dearth has a 7:05. 3200 not much

Sprints..... 100m, 13.09 with I. Gentry, 200m Breech with a 29.19 and J. Bowen at 31.17 the 400m will see J. Bowen with a 1:08 H. Young with a 1:14

Hurdles..... 100h has V. Bodey at 20.85 and nothing in the 300h

Field..... Not much in the discus, shot put will have J. Howard at 26' 10", V. Bodey has a 4' 06" high jump, I. Gentry has a 15' 08.50 long jump nothing in the pole vault

Relays..... about all the relays could finish 5th thur 7th

Green

Distance..... 800m K. McIhenny has a 3:03 and M. Brown with a 3:04, 1600 McIhenny at 6:46 M. Brown at 6:55, 3200 not much

Sprints..... 100m will have L. Brown with a 14.19, the 200 will see Brown with a 31.55, nothing in the 400m

Hurdles..... 100h K. Satterfield with a 18.70. 300h Satterfield at 59.53

Field..... E. Sanders has a 69' 05" discus, shot put has Sanders with a 28' 01.50" High jump with L. Brown at 4' 08', Long jump has a 15' 08' from Brown and a 13' 06.50" from M. Brown, Pole Vault will have 6' 00 from Satterfield

Relays..... don't see much from any of the relays

Valley

Distance..... A. Smith has a 3:05 800m, 1600m Smith with a 7:02 and L. Deatley at 7:27, 3200m don't see much here.

Sprints..... 100m has L. Ashkettle with a 13.87 and B. Fultz at 14.32, 200m Ashkettle at 27.38 and Fultz with a 31.67, 400m E. Brown with a 1:04

Hurdles..... 100h K. Browning at 19.38 I. Boyd 20.96, 300h Browning has a 55.94

Field..... Discus L. Munn has a throw of 63' 06", shot put isn't showing too much, High jump will see Ashkettle with a 4' 09' and E. Brown at 4' 06", Long jump and pole vault is down.

Relays..... 4x1 should be in the top three, the 4x2 could be 1st or 2nd, 4x4 should finish in the lower half and not much in the 4x8

Notre Dame

Distance..... S. Vaughters has a 3:25 800m, 1600/3200 show very little

Sprints..... R. Mault with a 14.27, not much in the 200m, 400m will have C. Lansing with a 1:05

Hurdles..... Lansing will see a 17.26 and Mault will put out a 55.60 300h

Field..... K. Ball has a 100-foot discus, Ball will also have a 32' 06 shot Put, high jump with Lansky at 4' 04", long jump and pole vault nothing

Relays..... All relays could be from 4th to 6th


Minford

Distance..... 800m J. Allen 2:42 and M. Pendleton 2:48, 1600m Allen with a 5:40, 3200 Allen has a 12:34

Sprints..... 100m G. Coriell 13.96, 200m Coriell at 29.32 and B. Wilson with a 30.63, 400m L. Pendleton at 1:09

Hurdles..... Don't see much here

Field..... Discus has S. Rhoden with a 103' 01" and 76' 08" from T. Coriell, Shot put has Rhoden at 30' 11.25" and T. Coriell at 26' 04", High Jump B. Hammonds 4' 06", long jump not much, no pole vault

Relays..... 4x2 and 4x4 look to finish in the bottom four where the 4x1 and 4x8 could finish in the top four


Waverly

Distance..... 800m O. Russell 2:39 and O. Cooper 3:01, 1600m H. Cisco 6:23 and J. Clark at 7:11, 3200m Cisco 13:44

Sprints.....100m 13.91 from M. Crabtree 14.25 A. Tackett, 200m Crabtree 28.90 and Tackett 29.95, with the 400 L. Lambert has a 1:10

Hurdles..... 100h D Teeters with 18.53 and E. Davis at 20.05, 300h will see Teeters with a 54.63 and 55.16 from Davis

Field..... Discus C. Josey with 105' 06" and 65' 09" from A Green, In the shot put it is Josey with 29.95, not much in the high jump, long jump M. Crabtree 13' 01.50" A. Tackett at 12' 03.50', no pole vault

Relays..... All relays have a good chance to finish 1st through 3rd

Wheelersburg

Distance..... 800m has A. Salmons with a 2:30 and N. Parker at 3:04, 1600m Salmons at 5:48, 3200m Salmons 14:03 and W. Davis with a 14:45

Sprints..... B. Miller has a 12.99 100m and M. Kutcamp at 14.14, 200m Miller 27.37 and Kutcamp at 29.26, 400m K. Warren with a 1:08 and N. Parker at 1:11

Hurdles..... A. Steward 18.37 100h I. Darnell with a 19.66, 300h 55.42 by Steward

Field..... Discus has M. Ratcliff with a 77' 08", Shot put has A. Blevins at 33' 01.50', High jump will have G. Perkins at 5' 02", could be the best in SEO, long jump Perkins with 14' 04.50" and P. French at 14' 01", no pole vault

Relays..... 4x1 and 4x2 could be first 4x4 might fall to the bottom four and the 4x8 should take 3rd
