Wilmington will be competing in there 1st SCOL wrestling tournament. The league Champion will be determined by the teams finish in the tournament and there league dual record.

160 continues the trend of being the deepest weight class. With a league champ and 2 former league runner-ups residing there.

170 Russell Miller of Miami Trace is the highest ranked wrestler in the league currently ranked 2nd by Bucksman.

The league has a total of 9 wrestlers ranked by Bucksman, Murphy 132, Laytart 138, Price 152, Tunon 152, and Miller 170 all being ranked in the top 8.

There are returning state qualifiers, at 138, 152, 170, 195 in the league this year along with state alternates at 132,160,and 195,.

This years league tournament will be impacted by a number large number of successful Freshman. Freshman could potentially win titles at any weight but are in serious contention at 106,120,285.

Since the League has been reformed in 2004 Miami Trace, Clinton Massie, and Washington CH are the only schools to win the Title. Miami Trace has won 8 titles over that time frame.

5-6 seems to be the magic number for a the team league Champion. Look for who ever wins the team title to have 5-6 league champs.
