I heard a rumor that Mike Dress is taking over the Trimble Wrestling program!

I think Mike Dress should have a shot at head coach at Trimle. He would do a good job at Trimle

Belpre won the TVC last year by a very close margin. NY made a great appearance like always. It is same these two schools just can't get enough wrestlers out to fill their program. I don't know if NY can fill it this year or not. Just seems to me the smaller Ohio Division schools fair very well against any school at least individual wise and most often team wise. I know for Belpre if we just had more kids to fill the empty weight classes it would be a huge help team wise.
How is Belpre's wrestling team going to be this year? I know Packard will be back full force. How about anyone else? Freshman will they have any impact this year?

I think there might be one or 2 freshman for belpre that will make a impact todd packard is good he is Ashton's cousin right now i don't think todd is the best he is maybe a little above average but the longer he is around ashton the better he will get
Corey law and Jacob sprigg should be ok they were both average
but the biggest freshman impact will be todd Packard

I heard only good things about the Law boy. Someone told me he was pretty good and very strong. The younger packard has only wrestled for a year from my understanding. However Todds work ethic is huge. I have never met another kid that works as hard as he does. His work ethic is definatly above any other I know of at this point.

Corey is strong for his size, and a very good wrestler. Todd wrestled for 2 years oh jr.high as far as i know im not sure about pee-wee but i do know he is a hard worker and a smart kid. Im not sure about Jacob Sprigg i have not got to see him wrestle but im sure he will be a hard worker along with the other freshman. I look for these 3 to do alright this year.

I heard the numbers for Belpre are not looking good? Again it is hear say but I heard only 7 or 8 kids showed up to the first meeting.

I don't think belpre will have a whole lot of depth this year but the kids they will have will be some qaulity wrestlers.

It looks like Belpre will face a very tough schedule again this year with Medina, Logan Elm, Parkersburg, Amanda-Clearcreek, and River. Hopefully that tough schedule pays off. If the team can stay healthy and they can work all their wrestlers in a weight class they should do pretty well at TVC's.

Dont count out the wrestling program in wellston they have some very talented freshman coming up and have some upper classmen who has a great chance for state. and dont count out their JH program either.

the eagles will be fine this yr only losing 3 seniors in rj walker mike wadecker and tyler cooper, the team will need alot of leader ship in packard, carr, and wiggers, i think all 6 of these guys advanced to districts.
hope to see more than 2 guys from belpre in columbus this yr

I would also watch Waterford. They have alot of talent returning, with Reed, Fulton(as long as he stays healthy), Smith, Miller, and Crock leading the team, and a few other wrestlers that will make an impact for the Wildcats.

It's to early to tell weight class for Athens. Athens will be strong this year in the TVC.
