Meigs had 6 kids last year, and graduated their best wrestlers. This year they got 22 new first year kids and they are the team to beat? forget about Athens and there 13 returning starters.

Tric118,

Who did win the TVC last year? With adding Athens to the league this year should make it tougher.

IDK i think athens gots it this year because they have such good talent returning. like steven M(State placer and a leauge champ), joey y(a 2x league champ and 2x district quailfer and placed last yr), ryan w(6th in sectionals to yrs ago), john k(3rd in league last yr), brian F(not made it very far but improving everyday), john L(league champ) and alot more. idk its going to be tough. we will just have to see in Febuary i guess.

Waterford was right on Belpre's tail last year for the title, only losing by 3 points I think.

tric: we graduated our best wrestler, and returned our 2nd and 3rd best. meigs 62-189 didn't say we were the team to beat, he was saying that it might be a better season for us having more kids out. nobody on here has said that meigs is the team to beat, so i don't know were you got that. i look for athens and wellston to possibley fight it out with belpre and waterford making it a real good league tournament all around this year.

The last "line quote me on that" is all I was talking about. I think it is great to have those kind of numbers pluse Meigs seems to have some good athletes out hope it goes well. We have open mats at Ohio University every sunday 5:45 be good to seem some of your kids showing up. Cost is $2.00

ok meigs has some impressive people this year we went from 8 wrestlers to 22 the coach is working our butts off to get us ready we got some really good wrestlers that are new but show alot of potential meigs will fill the majority of the weight classes and we lost one reallly good senior last year we didnt lose all of the good ones so when it comes down to it Meigs has a really good chance of winning TVC and maybe have one or two wrestlers go to state

Belpre will have a few there again this weekend. A.Packard, T. Packard, C. Law, T. Carr, and P. Wiggers. This is good if your tring to loose some extra pounds. I think Tric can vouch for that. Non Stop Drilling
