I agree 112 will be fun to watch @ League's. Could be a lot of upsets @ the League over all.

Corey Law impressed the hell out of me. I talked to him after he and my son's match, and he is a really good kid! He is a solid wrestler, and even as a freshman, should contribute greatly to Belpre in the future! Good luck the rest of the year Corey!

Id say athens wins tvc hands down. If nelsonville had a few more wrestlers , it would be a dog fight between the two. Dont see anyone else close.

112 was a good class with the kid from Circleville and London. Law had a bad first day along with everyone from Belpre for the exception of Packard. After a good talking to from the coach some of them showed up to wrestle the next day.
Some of the Belpre kids wrestled 9-13 matches in the past 5 to 6 days. I am sure that may have taken alittle toll on their bodies. Not tring to use that as an excuse.

tyler crislip-103 from belpre also did great along with packard who both place 1st at the logan-elm torny

That's awesome on the score for Corey! Sounds great... I really haven't been to many meets this year, just bad timing so far but hope to go to more soon. We will see you at something real soon though bud!

Wellston went to the Nitro Tournament this weekend and Benny Grey wrestled at the 215 and got 3rd place. Jeremiah Kerr wrestled at 215 backup. Grey had a shoulder injury at the beginning of the year and then wrestled heavyweight for 2 meets but is now back in the 215 weightclass. Grey was Wellston's 215 starter last year and placed 3rd at the Deno last year.

Lockard placed 2nd at Nitro at 189 and Jones placed 6th in the heavyweight.

Nitro is a big tournament with alot of competitors that are state ranked in WV.

Was Parkersburg High or Parkersburg South there? They have majority of the higher state ranked wrestlers. Being ranked in WV and being ranked in Ohio is a HUGE difference.
