Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
A nice well run tourn, with always some good competition; it will be a good weekend of wrestling.

Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
I have seen discussions or threads on this of people predicting who will win what weight classes. I haven't seen any mention of Packard from Belpre. I predict whatever weight class he is in to be force to deal with.
Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
The matchup I would like to see is, Dulaney from White hall vs Gifford, Logan Elm.
Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
I don't think we will see it. Dulaney is at 145, Gifford may go to 152....but I've seen stranger things happen. Who are the top lightweights? I would have to say Johnson from LE @ 112. Puts me in mind of a lighter Clark Graves.
Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
Who will be tough at 140? Davis from ZT was 6th at District last year and has only lost to Rosch from Canal Winchester and a kid from Valley View.
Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
Peter Laux and Nate Otero are some good 140's. All 3 have the potential of bringing home the Championship. Should be a great weekend of wrestling.

I would have to say that if Ashton Packard from Belpre wins the 160. He should be the most valuable wrestler. He has already won 1st in his weight class for the past 3 years. IF he wins it again that is 4 years straight. Sounds like a MVW to me. Opinions?
Re: Logan Elm Tourn. Jan 2nd&3rd
Packard is a good wrestler, but Gifford has won it for the past 3 years as well. This tournament harbors some great talent. The southeast needs a little more recognition for their accomplishments, and tournaments such as this will help. Here's to a great 2 days of wrestling......I hope everyone keeps healthy and has a safe trip!

Congrats to Corey Johnson, Shane Gifford and Brad Wolford on their championships. Corey Law impressed me and has a bright future ahead of him. I talked to him after the Corey-Corey match and he is a really good kid who is very determined.

I believe that the Circleville Herald was there. I know a photographer from Latent Image photography was there also. When he updates his site, I will post a link to view photos.
