I have seen Law and Johnson wrestle it will be tough for Law to win this match. Johnson is a senior and that is the deciding factor Law is right there as a freshman.
Hey Tric! How are my buddies from NY? Sorry I missed you at Logan....Corey had ACT's....scored a 26! I would have liked to see him and Leitwein wrestle.
hayes is no longer at 215 he is now at 189 for the time being. him an brothers flip flopped. you guys also forgot about welsh of meigs at heavyweight. he pinned carr in the second round i think at the meigs meet. he atleast deserves to be in the top three. meigs also has cody cook going to 140 and he is a tough wrestler
A question of curiosity, what all teams from the TVC will be at the John Deno Classic in Athens? This always a fun tournament. There is always good wrestling and competition. It will be fun!!!
These are all the TVC wrestlers I could find. Please list more and at what weights. The Italic- colored ones are MY pick to win the TVC. Based on Head to head, State placers and gut feelings. The rest are random,
Athens Alexander Fairfield Union Fairland Gallia Academy Harvest Prep. Heath Jackson Marietta Meigs Nels.-York New Lexington Northridge Philo River Valley Trimble Union Local Vinton County Wahama Warren Waterford Wellston Westfall
ItsGotime Lockard and Young we may see at the Dino. Jones I can see him doing good things. We'll understand a lot more after the Dino. If i remember right there are 8 teams from the TVC at this tournament. This will show who these kids are and what they are about. I would like to see nothing more than TVC teams placing high in the tournament. This is a good thing that the fans of the TVC are starting to back their kids more and more each year, the future is looking bright for the TVC. There are some strong young kids coming up, we may see some state placers come out of this league in the next year or two. This year I am seeing Reed from Waterford, Packard from Belpre, McLaughlin from NY, Norway from NY, McLaughlin from Athens, and maybe Hook from NY. Names I hope to see at the state tournament.
Is kerr from wellston the first year kid? at the river valley meet today hayes and grisby both wrestled 215 and hayes won by one point 9-8. it was a very good match. i think that hayes is going to stay at 215 and should shake it up a bit. at the river valley meet today meigs had 6 placers out of 7 wrestlers 1st place: cody, colby hayes, and ernie welsh 2nd place: eugene patterson, and tyler brothers 3rd place: jefferey roush meigs took home the second place team trophy and their first trophy in forever falling to vc
itsgotime, I think that you are way off. At 112 Fairchild will not beat Reed, at 119 norman has to go thru Crock, and at 130 you have Hook-NY and Miller- Waterford.

I think someone might need the smelling salts...lol..just playin. 112 is going to be a huge class with tons of talent. Reed takes it in my opinion however the other top four could pull something out. Should be fun.
Law got tech fall by Johnson Wiggers got beat by points by both by 1 point I believe. 112 was a good class with the kid from Circleville and London. Law had a bad first day along with everyone from Belpre for the exception of Packard. After a good talking to from the coach some of them showed up to wrestle the next day. Some of the Belpre kids wrestled 9-13 matches in the past 5 to 6 days. I am sure that may have taken alittle toll on their bodies. Not tring to use that as an excuse.
