tsracer thanks for the nice comments. The boys work very hard they spend a lot of time in the off season and then work very hard all week practicing evey Sunday either at O.U. or at Jordans. Zach is a great kid with a great work ethic I just hope it all works out for him this year. the 103, 112, 119 and 125 are all Freshman and work very hard also they are a great group of kids who are over acheiving. Best of luck to Tyler who won a great weight class yesterday.

Was just wondering if Welsh from Meigs and Jones from Wellston have wrestled this year and if so, how did that one go?

yes! welsh and jones did wrestle once, tournament at vinton and jones pinned welsh but welsh has learned how to wrestle the bigger kids now and won,t be trying to throw jones just use his speed. welsh only weights 235 lbs and has to not get caught.

I hope that Welsh got time over the Xmas holiday to wrestle with Cassidy that would have definitely helped.

How did Ernie do against the rest of the TVC heavies?

Ernie is 30-5 with his 5 losses being to jones & mcmanis at vinton, point pleasants 285, lee from new lex, boy from bridgeport. yes he wrestled everyday with cassady over christmas break, that is what has helped him.

Does anyone know why Rodriguez isnt wrestling for Athens?
Why is Law wrestling 119 for Belpre...I guess I know the answer to this one.
I'm sure these seeds will change before Saturday due to head to head.

Law has been at the top of 112 and battling to stay there all year. He started out at 119 then thought going to 112 would be better. With all the time Belpre has had off he just hasn't been able to keep the weight down so it just made more sense to have him at 119 for various reasons...

I really don't know how to take that comment about Law. Maybe we could say the same thing about Norway.
Teams have to be strategic to postion themselves with the best way to win. I would assume that is the same reason why coach yinger moved Norway.
The more I read that comment " I guess I know the answer to that one..." The more it makes me wonder why you made that comment like that. I usually give people the benifit of the doubt expecially on here because it shows no emotion. I hope u didn't mean it in a bad or degrading way.

All I have to say is good luck to everyone tomorrow, especially the seniors. It's your last league meet. Do your best and wrestle tough. When all is said and done, leave it on the mat. I know some of you seniors on several teams and have many good memories of you wrestling over the years. I know you have many good memories yourselves. Keep them close to your heart and they'll last a lifetime. :-D

I'll be over tomorrow morning at some point. God, I miss watching my son wrestle, you have no idea!!!
