Nelsonille-York Places 3 at Junior High States.

The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes had their best Junior High finish ever. What a great great weekend. The placers 114 Dakota Hook 4th, 120 Zach Mays 5th and 102 Thomas Mclaughlin 6th. Great job 3 placers Dakota lost in the second round and won 6 straight matches on Sunday. Thomas lost to Kagen Squire 6-2 in Quaters and Mays lost to Greshar 2-1 in Quaters. Other Nelsonville-York wrestlers had good weekeneds and finished in the top 16 out of 48 Bobby Leitwein 2-2, Carl Moody 2-2 and Jacob Coon 2-2 also winning matches Jared Tolliver 2-2, And the Brandon McCune qualified. Not to mention this was the biggest Junior High state tournament ever they went to 48 man brackets this year.

I believe this is the first year anyone from N-Y has placed at Jr. High State? (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) Not to mention having this many make it there.
Great job boys!!! We N-Y fans are extremely proud of you!!! Way to go!!!

Congrats boys! You guys have made us all so proud! Also, great job to the boys who didn't place! It was great to watch every one of you wrestle!

Also congats to The TVC for finishing 10th in the state out of 40 league's entered. I belive the the NY boys scored all of the points for the TVC. Wellston and Trimble had a wrestler or 2 but I dont think they were signed up as league members.
