Good luck to the Nelsonville-York wrestlers. And to all the area wrestlers at the convo.
This could be the year NY finally gets a 1st place @ Grade School States. There have been a couple 3rds and an 8th? But never a 1st....Until this year!

Let's "Git'er done!" Nelsonville-York youth wrestlers!!! 
I wish each of you and all the SE Ohio youth wrestlers the best of luck this weekend! I'll be there to cheer you on!!!

My nephew, Trey Finnearty, will be wrestling at the grade school states. I think he is in the 45 or 47 pound class. We'll be there to support our little guy!!! Good luck to all the local wrestlers...Tanner Tritipo and Seth Stalder from Athens will also be wrestling!!!

Is it seth or troy who is wrestling? I thought seth was in jr high. I know troy is in grade school.

Sorry about that, it most likely is Troy. I get those Stalder boys mixed up. Ethan, Troy, Seth...all good wrestlers and good boys!

Scotty Mash from Gallia Academy qualified at New Lexington in Division III - 85 pounds.
This was the 2nd year in a row that he qualified.
Unfortunately our league tournament was also this past weekend. Scotty chose to wrestle in our league tournament since he was seeded 1st. He wrestles in the Mason County Youth League, the WV league that includes Point Pleasant, Wahama, and others.
How did the other area wrestlers finish at the state tourny?
This was the 2nd year in a row that he qualified.

How did the Belpre and Warren wrestlers do?
