2012 Logan Youth Duals

Teams participating: 16 teams

Cost: $150.00 per team

Weigh-Ins: 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Weight classes / Team:
3rd grade or under
43, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 82, 92, and Heavy weight (120 max)
4th grade to 6th grade
58, 62, 68, 75, 82, 90, 101, 111, 126, and heavy weight (165 max)
~your team is broken up by grade and by weight classes to equal one big 20 man team.

Tournament format:
4 team pools of 4
1st place and 2nd place in each pool with come out into an 8 team bracket.
~ If you lose your first match in the bracket your done for the day.
3rd place and 4th place will be matched up to get one more match

Referee’s: certified

Mats: 6 mats will be used when possible

Rules: modified high school rules
~ 3 one minute long periods
~ neutral, top and bottom will be used

Awards:
~ 24 medals for the top 4 teams
~ Enormous trophies to the top for teams.

Can you bring more than 20 participates:
~ Yes but there will not be any extra matches do to time restraints. You can substituted you kid into the line-up as you wish but make sure you are following high school rules.
