What grade is Dingess in?

Dingess is a Junior he beat Leitwein Freshman in O.T. Dingess did a great job and showed a lot of heart. I see him as the best 112 in the area. Leitwein is coming on and doing very well should do fine.

How many forfeits did RV give up?

River Valley gave up 2 forfeits at 103 and 112. The Nelsonville wrestlers at 103, 112, 119, 125 and 130 are very tough and wrestle very well. You can tell they put a lot of work in and train in the off season. It should be a very exciting season, and as the competiton level rises in South East Ohio so will the performance of our athletes at the end of the season.

171 also is very tough, sorry left out meant no slight.

What grade is Dingess in?
Hes a Junior.

I will say this the TVC has some very good wrestlers this year. Mclaghlin, Young Athens, Packard Belpre and Reed Waterford are a few of the best. Athens is a veteran team that will be hard to beat as a dual meet team. Each weight class is solid.

Wow! The only gave up 12 freebies and still lost 78-0.

Remember, RV is very young and Athens has got to be the TVC favorite, but it is still impressive.

Not meant as anything against RV. I kind of actually like their coach.

Usually Huck has a few wrestlers that are very good, and he may have this year. Just thought RV would pull off at least one of them. Anyway, Best of Luck RV.

Nelsonville-York is also young with 5 freshman 103, 112, 119, 125 and 215. Overall great tri. Athens is so very deep with a great dual meet team. River Valley has some kids who will get much better.

Nelsonville-York won 6 out of 8 head to head matches. 4 Freshman picked up wins. River Valley has some very solid kids the 130 is huge and will only get better. I will say I have never seen a team hit a better hook and roll than River Valley they are lethal with that thing. Caught us once and nearly twice.

Great dual N-Y won 5 out of the 9 matches 4 by pin 1 tech fall. Great match at 112 two good kids getting after it. Athens two best kids 152 Mclaughlin and 189 Young did not get matches very good kids. 215 was a great match Coon a freshman hung in against a very good senior in Jordan Sweeney.

How many mat drills will they have to do in practice tonight in practice boogerred? I'm guessing at least 200! Huck probably is not happy.

I don't know how many sprawls they'll do?
Huck is a reasonable guy.
If the kids were clearly outmatched and the RV boys did everything they couldcorrectly and still got pinned, I doubt very many.
But I remember in 2001-02 when everyone got pinned by cradle against Nelesonville and he went ballistic (as he should have).

Huck is a good coach and he'll get them better for their next meet. Lotsa Luck RV!

If those results are correct, then it should be 79-0 unless someone got docked a team point.

Dingess is a stud. I am amazed at his improvement since he was a freshman.
