I may be missing something but I thought Packard was 2-0 and in the Quaterfinals. Did he win another match tonight the website must not be updated I thought the Quaters should be in the morning. Wiggers is the only other Belpre wrestler still alive he is 1-1.

Packard is 3-1 lost to Roushe from Canal Winchester I think score was 7-9.

Yes they wrestled another round last night. Don't know why it didn't get posted.

Ashton Packard (Belpre) @ 160lbs finishes 3rd at Medina Invitational Tournament

Well deservered he works very hard. His intensity in the room on Sudays at O.U. pays off. 3rd at Medina is impressive. I figured he would be a top 6 kid. Did Todd Packard Wrestle? I did not see his name.

Todd Packard was sick and didn't wrestle. Ashton Packard got a couple of bad calls in his semi match that kept him out of the finals; two back pts. at the end of second period that he didn't get, and a reversal at the end of the third as time ran out. After reviewing the tape the head official agreed that these were bad calls.

Just wanted to let everyone know I was putting these posts up the minute I heard or knew anything. I left after the first day for personal reason. I seen where they were not updating the brackets on baums page very quickly so I thought I would leave little notes on here for those interested. It is nice to have a Blackberry with internet service to do these updates on the road. opps did I say that!

I heard the same thing about Ashton match. That sucks. I bet though Ashton took that and got over it and came to wrestle the next match which indicated a win. Hopefully the head ref can do something about the mistakeS. I hate it for ashton but I am sure he knows in his heart what he has accomplished.

Congratulations to Coach Adams and Andrew Carpenter on their awards. Also great job Adam Fondale on making the finals. SE wrestling is stepping it up.
