if athens was in the SEOAL this year, do you think they would win it? hypothetical situation just curious on how you all feel about it

They would dominate hands down...very solid team, but there losing alot for next year.

If I had 2000 generators last week and sold them for $3,000 would you buy them? This is a stupid topic. Athens is now in the TVC. If Ohio State wrestles Athens would they win? It won't happen Athens TVC. yes Athens is good and there are many good SEOAL teams. This gets started each year.

They would be the favorite, but I do not think they would dominate. Marietta, Gallia, Chillicothe, and Logan could all fair well in a bracket style tournament. Collectively they may be able to break up Athens points and keep it close to where it would come down to the placement matches.

I would have to agree with schenk11, it does come down to match ups. Although, having ALL the weight classes filled does enable you the potential score more points. Not only does Athens have all of their weight classes filled, but kids can win at all weight classes. This double sucks for those teams with only half the weight classes filled with kids who are not up to the same quality as the Athens' kids.

Sure Athens would win
I think they have been up against about all of the SEOAL this year and come out on top
But if Athens was still in the SEOAL they would be at the bottom in about everything else

Obviously Athens didn't care to stay, so why would anyone care about the what-if's. Have fun in the TVC
