Anyone heard what all teams will be there? just wondering

meigs belpre wahama river valley southeastern vinton county wellston these are the ones i know of. try to it a ten team tournament

So who wins this one ? I feel this is a good season starting tournament with a good variety of southeast Ohio teams just asking for opinions on how any of these teams look and how you guys think it will turn out. i know Vinton county is usually a tuff group but i have heard numbers are down ,didnt gallia go to this one last year, are they out ?

What will the format be for this tournament?

Gallia has been in this tournament at least last couple of years. They are not in it this year. They took this tournament and the Burt builders tournament off there schedule this year and added. The Jason Eades tournament in point pleasant and the nelsonville york invitational. I'm not sure how this tournament is ran. i think it is ran like duals, but am not entirely positive that is correct.

I believe with 10 teams, there will be two pools of 5 teams each wrestling dual meets, for championships the best record in each weight class in each pool will wrest fou 1st and 2nd, 2nd best record in each pool for 3rd and 4th. Team points only in championship rounds.

We (Warren) are wrestling the night before. We do get a pound, correct?

Yes If you wrestle the night before everybody will get a pound

To all coaches, Bring all your extras we will try to fill weight classes with them so they can get matches also

so do they get the 1lb ? and any word on how many teams total? is it 8 or 10 ? 94eagle what team you think wins this? just wandering, I havent seen most of the teams so for each class will be hard for me to say.

You can't get a 1 pound allowance until your team has made scratch at least 1 time. So if your wrestler has not made scratch weight at a tournament yet they would not be able to get the extra pound. The only team that would, would be the team that competed the night before. That is the rule
