STEVE McLAUGHLIN BACK TO THE STATE
Steve McLaughlin of Athens High School qualified for the state meet by placing fourth at the Goshen District tournament for the second straight year at 152 . Last year he made it to the awards platform and will get the chance to get back to that level once again. Josh Dingess finished 5th and is an alternate at 112 for the state meet. Athens finished 10th out of 50 teams at the District competition. What a year and it still continues!!

Congratulations to Steven and Josh and all the boys that helped Athens earn 10th Place at Districts. The "dream season" continues. Thanks for representing us Steven, Josh, Tyler, Caleb, John, Joey, and Ethan!!!

Steven lost his first match at the state, but came back to take his first match in the consolation round. He's still alive in the double elimination format. Athens is rooting for you to make it back the the awards stand.

Steven has been put out.. It was a pleasure for him to make it 2yrs in a row..Steven is a very tough kid and we are very proud of him...We love ya Steven!! You are our champ!!!
