It won't be duel format, if there are 12 teams.

sorry to ask a dumb question but....how do the olympic pools work? if there are twelve teams, do they split the wrestlers up into 2 different pools? say 6 in each and then the winners of each pool wrestle in a championship match? do they also have 3rd and 5th place matches? also, to reiterate the question in the initial thread, who are the teams competing, other than belpre and warren?

Sounds like it should be a pretty decent tournament for the area. Good luck to the Belpre wrestlers!

I think the last several years Meadowbrook has either won it or finished second. They bring a pretty solid team each year. Last I heard it will be olympic pool duals and 11 teams will be there, but a couple of teams are short handed and could be combined to fill weight classes. Points would count for each team or something like that. It will be a loooooooong day with that many schools and doing this in one day.

I was always in favor of getting some of everyone's B wrestlers and throwing together an extra team, that way the extras still get a chance to wrestle and gain experience

Rohr and Gravely may not meet if it's Olympic Duals. Would be nice to know the pools so we can anticipate with a little more clarity.

Heard Belpre, Meadowbrook, Parkersburg "B", and Maysville are one of the pools.

So which braket looks to be the hardest if any of them? Looks to me pretty even pools. Belpre and Meadowbrook will be a good one I suspect.
