Zach Hook at Hokie open Virginia Tech

Former Nelsonville-York star Zach Hook will wrestle in his first Collegiate tournament this weekened the Hokie open at Virginia Tech. This is the link to keep up on him. Many great Ohio Wrestlers in this tournament. Good Luck Zach. He is doing very well at for the O.U. Bobcats.

Zach went 0-2 lost 3-2 kid from Virginia Univ and then was down 2-0 in the 3rd period and was cradled and pinned by kid from Univ North Carolina. He has been in all of his matches including the wrestle off which he lost 4-3. Goes to Michigan State this Sunday.

Who is he battling for a starting spot?

Numerous kids. 141 is Germain Lindsay All-American last year so everybody went to 149 the current starter is Brad Squire Freshman State Champ last year DI Wadsworth.

Good for him, great wrestler. With competition like he's seeing in the room and on the road, he'll be fine for next year.
