:122246 Logan beats NY? Kind of a suprise? or not? Was this a bracketed tourny? If so how would the two match up in a head to head match. Saw that NY beat Athens in a close one this week. Could be interesting in the SE this year. Warren and Gallia was 36-30 I think today in a dual. And I know that it is very early in the season. Results many times are very different in Feburary. Sounds like a good event.

It was a pool tournament. Logan is very long placed in all 14 weight classes N-Y only placed in 10. the 112 for N-Y Austin Inman did not make it. Logan has a nice team. N-Y is suited for bigger tournaments. The big 6 score big after that it gets a little shaky.

Was this Zanesville's first match--now that they have a team again?

Based on the points scored it looks like Logan is the best "team" placing all 14 wrestlers. But I doubt anyone would argue that NY has the best group of individuals.

Bottom line is Logan won the tournament nothing else matters. I will say this Nelsonville-York started only 10 wrestlers, no seniors on the team out of 18 kids out. Nelsonville-york finished ahead of Logan in 8 of 14 weight classes. Would be a very interesting dual meet. Congrats to Logan Coach Straus has a great group of young kids and will be the team to beat in the SEOAL in years to come.

Did Logan have a B team in this?

I see where they had more than one in a couple of classes that wasn't added in with Logan's main score.

Nobody had a B team entered but you could enter extra wrestlers which are B wrestlers and non Scorer's. Many teams had B wrestlers entered. Logan probably had the biggest team and the most B wrestlers entered. I know I brought 3 B wrestlers with my 10 starters.

I think Jim Tressel said it best when asked how the Ohio State Buckeyes won. "We scored more points." Tric, wish you good season. Sorry if I got some of your fans hackles up, I was just lookin for some info. Did not mean anthing by the question, I'll try to do better next time.
At Warren some were out for ACT's from several schools, so that may have had an impact where you were. Congrats to the Logan team, filling all the weight classes is outstanding, seems like most area teams are missing a class here and there.
