Please make plans for your team to attend the Zanesville PAL Winter Wrestling Classic on January 19th at Zanesville High School. Last year's tournament saw over 500 wrestlers and I expect the same this year. Last year we did experience some growing pains as we were expecting around 250 wrestlers and 500 showed up, however rest assured we have made adjustments in the right areas and this tournament will run smoothly this year with 3 sessions on 6 mats. This is an OAC Sectional tournament and features a novice division as well as Team awards for the top three teams.

Here are some real good reasons why you should attend the Zanesville PAL Winter Wrestling Classic this Sunday January 19th.

Zanesville High School is conveniently located just 5 minutes from I-70.

We will be running 6 mats in a very large gymnasium with ample seating.

We are running 3 different sessions,

Novice beginning at 10:00,

Div 1 & 3 begins at 12:30

Div 2 & 4 begins at 2:30.

We have a very reasonably priced concession stand with a large selection and you can watch the football game on the big screen and still hear all announcements from the gymnasium.

OAC Sectional Tournament

Ohio Tournament of Champions Qualifier.

Last year we had over 500 wrestlers.

We are also giving team awards to the top 3 teams. (Very Nice Trophies).

Very friendly and experienced tournament staff.

This is the last weekend you can collect seeding points before the OAC District Qualifier in New Lexington on January 26th.
