I don't really see the benefits of a preseason , I haven't been on in a while, been pretty busy only positive I have seen is that it might spark more interest from fans, but there seems to be a lot of negitives, no seniors, good wrestlers won't be wrestling in previews , weight deferences like a wrestler that 160 last year might be 182 this year who would he wrestle , not to mention the weight assessment issues , but in saying that I respect and will stand behind and try to help with whatever is decided.

Benefits of a preseason are huge! Gives a coach a chance to see how rusty his wrestler really is. Helps to build up the excitement for the season, you can match up good wrestlers. All Star matches gives your best wrestlers a chance to be recognized early.

That's why you see All star matches at the college level and hs. There is no downside to it and helps to bring much needed visibility to our sport.

wch 125.. I agree totally
I paid my dues last year
do you have the info?
I have none other than it is at Athens on the 22nd

are there weigh ins?
what are the wts?
what schools are invited?
is it only schools that paid dues?
who paid dues?
do you have to be invited?
have wrestlers been selected?

having had many seniors not want to do it at the end of the year, I have always wanted it to be at the beginning. I have asked for it. Now it is upon us and I feel like im not doing my part in promoting. I cant promote something I know nothing about

LOL. Something you know nothing about??? probably because it is in the works. Do I have your email??? have you been getting the emails??? Schools same as every year Southeast Ohio Dues paying schools, Weights are high school weights +5 so yes weigh ins. Who invited??? Those who meet the cirteria State Champ, State Placer, SQ, DP,DQ Junior high State placer OAC. I posted above details to follow give me a chance, I will get out more info next week. I have the Super 32 tomorrow with my two sons I am trying to help them get ready for that and finish with football. If you are not getting emails from me send me your email address to [email protected] And yes we will be collecting dues once again this year as we have every year so a dues paying school/coach is included in the All-Star preview. Great deal for 25 bucks.
