Warren HIres New Head Coach

Warren has a new head coach. Long time assistant to Marty Santini, Jim Rhodes has been named the new head guy at Warren. Rhodes is a teacher at Warren so maybe he can generate more participation in wrestling by being in the school and seeing the kids everyday. He has been officiating since 2006 and has really never left the sport of wrestling completely behind. He has no sons, nephews, cousins or any other relations that will be wrestling so that is a positive. Expect the warriors to be in shape and able to go the distance in each and every match. Gone are two time State qualifier Levi Congelton and two time State placer Brandon Pahl. Returning will be Junior, State Qualifier Casey Parsons who will have to lead a very young Warrior team. Last year there were 12 8th graders, all of which will most likely be pressed into action at some spot this season. The returniong Warriors will number about seven, with Austin Miles being the only Senior from last years team. Rumor has it that brothers Nick & Robert Fish may also be out, both Wrestled for Alexander in the past and could fill a spot.
Anyway hope the best for the Warrior Wrestlers.
