Nelsonville will win every weight class they have a kid in at the TVC this year. They are currently ranked # 3 in Division III as a team, have a number of individuals who are ranked as well as a couple who should be. Nobody in SE Ohio is even going to be close.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Eastern wresting program. Their wresting building caught fire last night and re-kindled this moring. Don't think they was able to get anything out.

I doubt if NY can pull that off. However they should place every wrestler . Any word in what weight Snyder will wrestle?

Nothing is a sure thing. Remember the Yinger boys didn't even win their matches at the preview! And some of the boys are 30 pounds overweight from foolsball. Look for Athens and Vinton co to push the Buckeyes hard this year.

We'll see I guess. Colt wrestled way up & lost to a state placer from last year one day after playing a regional football game & Collin tied a freshman that will likely be a state placer in DII this year. Most of N-Y's wrestlers opted not to wrestle in this due to the long football season.

They will be an entirely different animal by February. I would look to River Valley before I would Athens or VC. Besides Nelsonville, those kids are the only other boys in the league who wrestle in the off season.

Old Buckeye I love that lineup hoping that works out I am 90% sure it will. We start working at it tomorrow and Yes Colt wrestled a very good Posey kid from Zane Trace who will be a placer at 182 again this year would be my Guess. Colt is wrestling 160 and Collin Tied Peyton Keller who is ranked #2 in the State in D2 a super Freshman. I have no clue if you we will win any weights at the TVC but we will be ready when the time comes. And yes River Valley has some very good kids who will push the Buckeyes for sure.

From what I hear, the kids are back after it working on getting their weight where it should be. Anxious to see what they are able to accomplish this year.

That seems about right. I believe These were non football players and JV wrestlers.

Yes we wrestled those weights at Logan as those wrestlers had the Alpha weight test done were ready to go. I have another 10 getting ready and will wrestle next week at home against Morgan and River Valley. Been a long slow start but the kids are working very hard. Our lineup should look like this

That line up is very strong.......

NY will be a lot of fun to watch this year. River Valley has looked decent early on this year as well. Gilbert at 145 looked good for Belpre as well.

I am really ready to get the season underway!
