golf is one of those sports that doesnt seem to get much attention, so is there any player from your school's team that is doing really well this golf season?

Roman Slone(Sr.), Bryan Osborne(Sr.), and Nathan Deweese(Jr.) from Eastern pike all averaging just a little over even par. Probably the best 1,2, and 3 men on any team in southern ohio but the 4 and 5 men are shooting around 55-60+ if only this team had a decent 4 man.

so is eastern pike the team to beat this year? any one have any chance of going to state or anything?

eastern pike got a new player jordan thornsberry. he has only played 4 times in his life and shot a 48 if we keep working with him he will avg mid 40's and we will make it to state with that. we shot a 169 in the soc match the other day and are forth score was 56 so he will help a ton

The first of three SOC II matches was played @Shawnee yesterday evening. The top 12 individual scores are:

Yesterday afternoon, the second SOC II match was played @Dogwood Hills in Waverly. After 2 of 3 rounds the top 10 include:

What happened to the Bond and Rawlings kids in the first round??
Not to good of scores but the Bond kid seemed to play better the second round and redeem himself.
How many matches are left?

1.) Clay
2.) Eastern
3.) S. Webster

clay and eastern always seem to have good teams... i wonder, is it the coaching or are the kids just THAT talented?

Clay has taken a 36 stroke lead, with one match to play at Franklin Valley. Eastern is Clay's closest competitor with S.Webster and Notre Dame thereafter.

Final SOC1 leaders was announced tonight with the results as:
1. Roman Sloan - Eastern (Player of the Year)
2. Corey Lawhun - South Webster
3. Josh Riddlebarger - Clay
4. Tie - Cody Bussler - Clay
Johnny McKenzie - Clay
6. Will Angelos - Notre Dame
Clay won the SOC 1 title with South Webster finishing 2nd and Eastern finishing 3rd.
