Imo Valley will play Kirtland if they get passed Wynford that may be a harder game than who Valley would play at the state.Has 17 & 19 always played each other for the state semifinal game?

I always thought it was 17 & 18 and 19 & 20. That's at least what happened last year. And in 2009 this is what happened 17 & 19 and 18 & 20. And looking further back it hasn't been consistent. So, who knows if there is a method or it flip-flops.

At this stage, it really doesnt matter who the winner of Valley-Wynford gets...

Yep, Valley needs to focus on Wynford. You start looking into the future and you start losing sight of what's in front of you. Valley cannot afford to look past them. Come on Friday! Let's Go Valley.

Sorry but I'm running a little late for the congrats to Valley on their win last week and theit trip to regional championship. I am pretty confident they will win the region this week with a win over Wynford. I wish we could of pulled off the win last friday but just didn't happen we had are chance to just didn't work out. I think if we could of won and had the Scioto county region 19 championship you would be looking at attendance of 7 to 8,000 maybe more. In 02 on our trip to the state finals the thing that surprised me the most was not that we made it but the support we received from all of Scioto county it was truely amazing, and I'm sure the Indians will have the same support on their quest to the state finals. One thing about this county of country hillbillies we might be at each others throat thoughout the year but when it comes down to it we have each others back. GOOD LUCK INDIANS I HOPE YOU WIN THE WHOLE DARN THING.

GOOD LUCK VALLEY FROM THIS SIDER FAN!!!!! I will be there rooting you on!!!! Lets show the Northerners about scioto county football!!!!! I hope we fill up the Valley side and half of the home side. I was surprised at the lack of ppl that wynfild brought! West filled our side up and alot of ppl went to the home side. So I just hope that all of southern ohio gets out and supports the kids from valley and I hope that Keller gets to take a knee and give god the praise like he ahs all yr and the ref doesnt tell him he is not allowed to do that. so sad for Luke!!!! Oh well, Gooooooooooooooo INDIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valley travels very well and I have a feeling there will be a bunch of Senator Fans as well as Burg, and others from around the River showing support for Valley. What was the OHSAA thinking ? Hope it don't get UGLY !
I agree we will need 2x thats much seating what are they thinking? well we are nothing but a buch of farm boys down here we can bring our lawn chairs and and a few bales of hay I am sure our cows wont mind..... :-D
Dude what are you talkin about? Your playin a bunch a hicks. We bring living room couches and place then at the end of the end zones for regular season home games. I'm serious, this is why other teams in our league call a home game @ Wynford playing at the Circus

luvbigcats and 1fan,

Thank you both very much!!!

And, you're right, hopefully Luke gets to do what he's done all year long. We were absolutely amazed when the official wouldn't let him do it.

Its Tradition we have done it for years. Here is a funny one, 1st play off game vs Smithville at Wynford (And yes we drug out the couch here as well) but anyways, a farmer had spread the field across from the school that day with manure. Yes it stunk. As my family and I were getting out of the truck, a bunch of Smithie guys were getting out, as we started to walk toward the stadium one Smithville guy announces to the others "Wow this place smells like Sh*t!" I told them "Welcome to the home of Wynford Royals Football, we go to great strides to make our opponents feel at home! Hense the smell!"
We all had a good laugh.

Wheelersburg had a lot of support from Scioto county back when they made their run to the state title in 1989. The only people I saw that made the trip from Scioto county and actually rooted against us was a group from Portsmouth that we saw at the regional finals and the state finals. Same group of guys at both games. Sour grapes I guess.

I'm sure there will be a lot of support from the other SOC schools. My father and I went up last week and set right amongst the Valley people and had a blast watching the game. I also saw a few others from the Burg as well as a group of guys from Minford. If I didn't have to work this weekend we would be going back up again and if Valley wins I will be going to watch the state semis.

Good luck to the Indians!!

There has been counts all across the U.S. that kids have been stopped from doing the same thing its ashame because God gave Luke the ability that he has and he is just thanking God for that.
