1. NY
2. Wellston
3. Miegs

Can't really count Athens since they have only been in the league 1 year.

being behind both wellston and nelsonville in my opinion is not bad. up until recently wellston has been a solid program that has had our number.
nelsonville as i have stated alot is clearly 1 class program anyone would hope to copy.
listen if meigs never wins another game i'm still a fan of the kids here and the coaching staff. sure they lost last year to a great team but when the game was over, i did not see any kids with their heads down or any reason why they should. as i have pointed out meigs did better against new lex than mighty ironton and ironton has tradition and experience that meigs cannot hope to copy. if you look at the overall records you will see that meigs is almost always 4-1,5-0 going into the tvc schedule. the one year they did not finish in the top their top player ( david poole) was hurt for most of the year. how good would nelsonville had been last year without arnold? so yeah meigs is normally very good if that bothers you to hear that vikes i suggest you read the basketball thread and tell all those viking people to shut up because they seem to brag about the basketball team which i will add has as many state basketball titles as meigs does.

if you have pride in your school don't be upset if someone else does too. don't be confused meigs' isn't good because they have our support it is the coaches and kids that play. i just want them to know that we as a county appreciate their hard work. sometimes there doesn't seem to be much in this corner to take pride in but our kids should always be #1.

btw i hope you all feel the same way about your schools.

The QB for Miegs throws a very nice ball. This year is interesting,I look for Wellston to take it this year since NY can not run the ball every time,even though they haven't passed in quite some years cause they couldn't except for the occasional deep ball,but this year theirs no surprise and if you shut the run game down there done.

Athens can compete for the top it all really just depends on the summer they have, a lot of youth in big time spots,but a lot of experience on the line. If they can polish up the Tailback spot and the Linebacker spot,they'll do just fine.

Nobody in the TVC-Ohio has been able to shut down our run game in a long time. We don't throw the ball much and thats no big secret, so whats going to change this year? We still have the best TB in the TVC. BTW we will pass a little more than you might think this year!!

How do you figure that Orange and Brown? How do you know they will pass more? Why would they pass when all Arnold has to do is walk and defenders bounce off of the force field that surrounds him? Enlighten is with your intense and riveting football knowledge! You don't wanna give away too much information. I am sure the other TVC Ohio schools got enough information when they spied on your practices like you claimed they all do and condoned doing in another thread.

The playoff game was 42 to 14. At least we scored points, and at least it takes a playoff team to destroy us, unlike vc, who got destroyed by half the tvc teams. If Meigs has a line this year, they will def. make playoffs, and they will be a contender at the top of the tvc. btw, when was the last time vinton won the tvc or made playoffs? you shouldn't run your mouth about a team when your team is horrible. facts are facts

I believe that MEIGS could win the TVC very easy..... with both explosive players of Smith and Well returning.....and the younger Bolin who is just as fast...and now even a few inches taller then Clay Bolin...so now even a bigger target to throw to...not to mention TE Davis for another large target to hit... and the threesome of very talented sophomores of Barrett, Sayre, and Roush. So...Meigs will be putting up huge numbers on Off.

VC lost to Canal Fulton in 2004 which was their last playoff appearance.
