Does anyone know how Nelsonville-York did against Philo? And what the final was?

Varsity was like 3 scores to 1 and ny did win ... alot of 2 way starters didnt play both ways , to keep them healthy, they were mixin it up a bit lot of passing surprisingly ...played starters on offense and rested them on deffense mixin in some jv players with varsity and still handled them really well.. watch out tomcat land buckeyes are commingGO BUCKS

Its going to be between Athens and Nelsonville-York. I give the edge to the Buckeyes with a better offense than most schools around.

NY vs Philo was 2-2 with the Varsity.
Arnold had a TD catch and Run. Cunningham had a TD run right before arnold and it was called back.
Arnold did not play a snap of Defense and the rest of the starters were out there every snap!!

Precisely why OHSAA has divisions and different level points breakdowns, play down where half of your opponents can't win 3 or 4 games and go 10-0 & not make playoffs or play up and play opponents that can actuallly win a few games. (5-5 or 6-4 gets you in: I.E. Desales, Watterson, Hartley, Amanda-Clearcreek). "PLAY SOMEBODY YOUR SIZE OR BIGGER". It cracks me up when some of these 9-1 or 10-0 teams that play nobody cry foul at the end of the year because a 6-4 team finished ahead of them in their respective region. They finish ahead of them because they played COMPETITION, not patsies.

In Athens case it's not the record of the teams they play, it's the fact that they play 1 d-3 school and the rest are D-4 and 5,

I don't think Athens is really worried about weather they make the playoffs or not right now. I think there main concern is getting the ship righted and then they can start thinking playoffs.
