I'll bet there is someone in Ironton named Logan (first or last name)!

It's a pretty "trendy" name right now!

ok i don't know a lot about football, but i can guess that it is like any other sport..... a team will do well if they have a couple of important facts. 1) have kids who are willing to play and want to be there, 2) believe in theirselves, and 3) have heart in whatever they do. If a team has a lot of heart i believe that they will go far in reaching their team goals. I think that the Blue Devils may or may not be the best team in the SEOAL, but i think that they have a lot of heart and that is the reason why they will do well! Congrats to the new coaches and best of luck! Go get'em BLUE!!!!

gochiefs is right, Blue Chick #2, GAHS won't figure in the battle for the SEOAL championship this season and probably not for a couple of more at least.
I think Coach Eddy is laying a good foundation that could result in GAHS getting back to being a regular contender.
Go Blue Devils!!!

I actually meant they won't contend for the SEAOL championship b/c...well..b/c they are leaving the SEOAL...or left already? You can't compete for a league championship if your not in that league.

PHEW! Thanks! I could have been like most people and either edit it out to pretend it never happened..or just come up with some excuse or 'proof' that I heard about GAHS actually leaving the SEOAL. LOL

I wouldn't say the loss of Morgan, Huntsberger, MacLaughlin, Neff, Miller, Sigler, and Adams as hardly losing anything. They still have a lot of the key players from last year left..yes..but they are still gonna have to have some of the young guys step it up. Which I think they will do..but lets just worry about week 1 before we worry about winning league..Lancaster isn't going to be a pushover..Logan lost to L'Ville last year in the second round...as far as state goes this year..Logan is in the toughest region in Division 2..probably the second toughest region in the whole state before Region 4..so let's just make it out of the region..then worry about the state. Would I be surprised if the Chiefs go to the state championship? No..but..I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it either.

Lets slow down on the toughest region talk for this year. Remember, divisions were re-aligned. No Desales in region 7 this year to pump up the big bad region 7 talk. Every single year teams graduate awesome players and every single year teams either reload or rebuild. Logan has reloaded just about every year since 1998 so i feel very confident that the new faces on Friday nights will step up and get it done until they prove me otherwise.
