WOW!!!!! Isn't this the 5th year in a row that Ridgewood has came to Scioto County, only winning one of them?
I think Valley's offense will be to much for Ridgewood.
Good luck Indians. A West-Valley rematch would be huge for the County

Did some searching about them online. They have a senior TE, Evan Jones, he's 6'6" 240 and has committed to Michigan State. Valley will have to gameplan for him, maybe use Dwyer in some man coverage? Might need to double cover him at times. Pressure on the QB will be critical as well.
Valley is impressive I see them winning this game and a few more.

Anybody know of any other newspaper that covers Ridgewood other than the Coshocton Tribune? I was only able to view articles about 3 of the Generals 10 games.

Re: DV R19 Qtrs: Ridgewood (8-2) @ Lucasville Valley (10-0)
The big playmakers appear to be Trent Lingo, Jake Zeigler, Dakota Albertson, Lenard Davidson and Chris Saylor (QB) on offense. Brian McElhaney is the kicker, and he appears to be very accurate. Defensively, I read where Garrett Bethel, though just a 5'7" - 155lbs Soph, is one of the leading tacklers on the team. And, of course, there's the aforementioned Evan Jones, the big 6'6" - 244lbs Senior TE/DE that's headed to Michigan State next year.

Based on Joe Eitel, 304 is their total of points scored, so that may be the season totals.

1499 yards rusning in 10 games? That not a very impressive stat to me. The yards per carrry isn't bad at 6.6, but 149 a game isn't much to brag about.

Re: DV R19 Qtrs: Ridgewood (8-2) @ Lucasville Valley (10-0)
I thought the same thing, which is why I think the yardage numbers aren't for the entire season, although the scoring numbers are. Here is the breakdown of individual games that I could find:Burg_Grad_77 wrote:1499 yards rusning in 10 games? That not a very impressive stat to me. The yards per carrry isn't bad at 6.6, but 149 a game isn't much to brag about.
Week 3 @ Martin's Ferry: 38 carries - 203 yards; 5 comp - 8 att - 127 yards; 46 plays - 330 total yards
Week 4 @ Tusc. Cent. Cath: 175 yards rushing; 153 yards passing; 328 total yards
Week 5 vs Malvern: 48 carries - 364 yards; 2 comp - 4 att - 73 yards; 52 plays - 437 total yards
Week 6 @ Sandy Valley: 37 carries - 249 yards; 8 comp - 17 att - 58 yards; 54 plays - 307 total yards
Week 7 vs Liberty Center: 156 yards rushing
Week 8 @ Garaway: 26 carries - 102 yards; 10 comp - 18 att - 102 yards; 44 plays - 204 total yards
Week 9 vs Strasburg Franklin: 43 carries - 195 yards; 8 comp - 15 att - 174 yards; 58 plays - 369 total yards
Week 10 @ Newcomerstown: 34 carries - 211 yards; 13 comp - 18 att - 205 yards; 52 plays - 416 total yards
That works out to 1,655 yards rushing in 8 games and 892 yards passing in 7 games. So, as you can see, the stats don't work out correctly. It looks like they average closer to 200 yards per game on the ground and close to 130 yards per game through the air.

Definitely! I've got some defensive numbers for them too. But, of course, they are as incomplete as the offensive numbers. I'll post what I've got...Burg_Grad_77 wrote:That's a little more respectable.

Do we have Valley's stats? I know at the end of the Burg game Keller had 28 rushing Td's, but would love to see the entire stats for the team.
