As I've stuck with my guns all year, I thought Hannan Trace would lose to Trimble, Wahama and Symmes Valley and I'm sticking to it. (SV 35 - SG 21)

Because he is just trying to stir something up and get someone to bite. HTHS has been gone for 20 years now. I used to be an HT guy but I take as much pride in SG especially since my daughter is a Rebel athlete. Don't let this guy get under your skin.bettis wrote:Why do u continue to call them Hannan Trace?
Go Rebels!

Week 10 already man this season has went by fast. Rebels could have a home game with a win. Hope they can pull this one out.

Valley takes this one 34-14 and leaves no doubt they are ready for the playoffs.
Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
I really don't care who wins but I believe SV will win really big.

Vikings are on a mission:
Phase I complete: Securing SOC I championship.
Phase II: Securing home game for week 11 and saying goodbye to an old rival.
Vikings win big.

Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
This game will once again come down to line play. Both lines are strong and really beat up the opponent. If SG can get the ball to the outside in this one it will be a good game. Rebels couldn't get anything to the outside against Wahama because of all the speed Wahama had and that's what got them beat. I'm sure SV is just as talented as Wahama if not more but this may be more of SGs type of game with it consisting more of power than speed.
Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
From what I understand it will be a short good bye. I am told that SG and SV will probably begin playing again in 2014 when TVC Hocking splits and SG has more flexibility in it's non conference scheduling. I firmly agree these two schools should be playing in everything which includes home and homes in basketball. Not the current one hoops game each year.SVDad wrote:Vikings are on a mission:

I agree - these schools should play each other in everything every year.
For one thing, both schools make a lot of money from these games!!

No reason, I've just always thought Hannan Trace Wildcats sounded better than South Gallia Rebels (Anyway, the South lost the war 150 years ago). 8)bettis wrote:Why do u continue to call them Hannan Trace?

The two schools will play again starting in 2014 in game two of that season at Symmes Valley.
Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
Both teams seem to be peaking at the right time! Heart says Rebels but head says Vikings. Hope my heart wins out this time!! You can do it Rebels!! Glad to see that these two teams will renew their rivalry after a two year hiatus

Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
If Symmes valley wins it very well could be. If South Gallia wins I doubt it. I was looking at Drew Pasteurs fantastic 50 web site and it looks like the winner of this game will be the top seed? Am I reading it correctly? The reason I am thinking this is true is because SV and SG each have the highest potential points by winning out. Since there is only one game left it could be the case. I am sure the "potential" points also includes the other variable, secondary points. Someone take a look and see if I am reading it correctly.Boomer Sooner wrote:Could this possibly be a week 11 matchup?:)
