week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
Re: week 10: Symmes Valley (8-1) @ South Gallia (7-2)
Thanks to the loss by bishop Rosecrans last week and the foreit by Trimble the rebels should be in at 7-3. They would be looking at the 7 or 8 seed. But a win will put us number one in the region. And hosting the first playoff game in school history. Could be nice to see the last game at the old field be a playoff game. But that all starts tonight at 7:30 in big ole mecerville.

Trimble needs alot of help now since they had to give Coal Grove that game so they will be lucky if they make it.
And if they do and S.G. gets to play them it will be a different story this time around S.G. will lay the wood on them.
It wouldn't matter, Trimble would beat them a second time. The Rebs better worry about the playoffs after the sure loss this evening to Symmes Valley that leaves them with a record of 7-3. Region 23 as a whole is the weakest in the state this year so it doesn't really matter.
It does matter! Your opinion on the other hand really doesn't. You know what I find interesting is that the team that wins region 23 would almost be like winning the state championship in West Virginia. The are 29 teams in region 23 and a total of 34 class A teams in the entire state of WV. And 16 out of 34 teams make the playoffs? Don't lecture fans from SG and Trimble on what does and does not matter.
It wouldnt be like winning the state in WV since neither of you can beat Wahama and they have never won a state title.

Last regular season game, Symmes Valley played great last week on both sides of the ball. Need to do the same thing tonight and all is well. Don't overlook South Gallia, sounds like a great group of kid's at SG. Looking forward to a great game and playoff's next week.

South Gallia needs to worry about taking care of business this week and quit making plans for next week! Would love to see the Rebels in the playoffs as well as Trimble! Everybody bad mouths the TVC Hocking but they could end up with 3 teams in the playoffs!! SG,Trimble and Wahama!

I really hope SG gets another shot at SV next week. Not because we want to avenge tonight's loss. Because I don't want to make that drive to Crawford county if SG is lucky enough to still qualify. SV has a really nice team. Congratulations on a great season.
