Congrats Coal Grove, We will have to see how 18 shakes out for you. Peke right now is a HUGE Alexander fan, hopinng they beat Meigs or they may be out. I have not heard a score yet.

WOW! Congrats CG...That Trimble forfeit decision appears even larger now! Will this game put CG in the playoff pic?

Didn't Wheelersburg lose tonight? They are unofficially in the 12 spot ahead of CG in 13

Re: Showdown: Chesapeake at Coal Grove
Coal Grove dominated time of possession. Coal Grove used pistol with Bender and Bare doing most of the running with success for most of game to take control and at the end a 5 wide spread to move length of field with less than 3:00 to re-take lead with 40-some seconds to go. Great call in the last drive was qb draw that went for 15-20 yards. Coal Grove gambled on 4th and short many times and came up short only once that I remember. Coal Grove pretty much took away the outside game of the Panthers. The Panther's did a good job offensively on runs inside the tackles, but I feel the Panther coaching staff didn't go to that well enough to make a difference.
To me, I think Chesapeake might have had the horses, but this one was won by the jockey on the side wearing black and red..
Great game to watch. Both sides played their hearts out.

West beats Burg 40-14. Wonder if that gives the Hornets a shot?

With Wheelersburg 12, and Liberty Union 11 in the polls both being knocked out tonight, I would imagine the hornets would end up in the bottom of the playoff race?
