i sure hated missing the ironton/bishop hartley game. hope to get to see the fighting tigers this week in the tank. ironton is still 6th in their region, but must win out to have a chance.

Itown will be back on top next year. Alot of youthful mistakes have cost the Tigers this year. This tough competition is only going to help them in the future.

I look for Ironton to rebound in a BIG way this week and head into Week 10's rivalry game looking to lock up a playoff spot.

Ironton improved their blocking last week which was good but they need to tackle get back to the way they started their season.
Win out make playoffs yes but need to improve a lot to get any where in the playoffs.
This has been a brutal schedule for them but I think they are improving every game and expect a win this week end go Tigers.

i think the thing the big thing that will subdue conversations this week, we know nothing about simon kenton kentucky's program. even their nickname.as this is a first, for even the fighting tigers.i've heard they are 6a in ky. that's all i've heard.

Ironton was having trouble bringing down the Hawks RB's. Their defense needs to improve going into the playoffs and offense needs to hold onto the ball. They will win this game easily this weeek and next and will make it to the playoffs.

I watched the game on ONN as well as the Alder game and yes Irontons defense is not what it should be. This deep in the season they should be able to tackle. If they dont make changes they will not have much of a post season this year. Hopefully, Simon Kenton will not have backs like Hartley and the Tigers will be better prepared. Good Luck Tigers.

Simon Kenton must of lost alot of talent from last year.

Simon Kenton is 6A (792 Boys) which is D1 in Ohio.

They were 10-3 and played in the Regional Finals last year.

This should be a good game this isn't a big team but they are very quick.
The was in a few games they was in position to win.
A big win for the Tigers a much needed win for them.
And Portsmouth will be no walk over for the simple reason they will be fired up for Ironton as always so need to keep from looking over them come on Tigers that blocking was better last week but tackling needs work lets put a total game together as we know you can and win these last two games and show everyone your for real.
