Nope this year they are going to take a new approach and run the ball 100% of the time. With Arnold carrying the rock it doesnt seem like too bad of an idea.

The game plan works. As long as it keeps winning tvc championships, and it will ...GO BUCKS 8)

but at the same time is winning the TVC all thats good enough?

I know there are a lot of people in Buchtel that would like to see a win in those playoffs.

Don't get me wrong TVC is the first goal, but it seems to me they got that part down; now they need to move on as one of the elite teams that need to be reckoned with in this Region and ultimately the Division. Lets face it there are 31 other teams that make the playoffs in that Division and chances are they had to stop the run once or twice in the year. You have to have a Plan B when the running game isn't there.

WE ARE GETTING BETTER IN THE PLAYOFFS, DONT FORGET LAST YEAR WE LOST TO LIBERTY U IN THE PLAYOFFS ONLEY BY A POINT. WE COULD OF WON, BUT WE DIDNT, IT WAS NOT OUR GAME PLAN[,RUNNING] FOR THE REASON WE LOST.. WE COULD OF WON THAT GAME IT WAS CLOSE AND NY CAN THROW THE BALL IF WE NEED TO MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT. OUR GREATAST STRENGH IS OUR RUN GAME THATS ALL

From what I know about the personnel that the Bucks have this year it would not surprise me if the passing game was a lot different than in years past. I'm thinking that we will be way more athletic at the quarterback spot this year and would expect to see more rollouts, bootlegs and run/pass option stuff. Definitely not so much of the drop back passing as in years past.

Now I am no expert, but if you want to have a passing game it needs to be started in the biddy program. You can't just one day decide that we are going to switch to a passing offense when the program from the ground up relies heavily on the run. I do think that the pass has become much more important in the lower programs and that will only benefit the Varsity program in the future.

I would like to see the Bucks use the Qb like they used Jay except throw the ball more.

No passing game is the reason I hate watching Nelsonville-York football. It's about as interesting as watching the grass grow. I'd rather watch a team with a worse record, but actually enjoy the game.

So you would rather watch a team chuck the ball around the field and lose than watch NY run the ball right down teams throats and win? Football is a running game, not a passing game. This passing game slows the game down and stops the clock all the time. I do not mind a little balance like 70-30 running and passing, but for all the Offensive linemen run blocking is a lot more fun than pass blocking. Jim did you every play football? Passing game to me is for back yard two hand touch or for flag football. Real football is played in the trenches and running the football. If this spread stuff continues to spread throughout the state they are going to take off the pads and just play touch football before we know it.
