Not major points at all. Alex is D5 and that will give Jackson 4 computer points....around .4 in the end

It helps out Wellston greatly.

Per Gridiron Glory:

Wellston - 345 yards of offense

Alexander - 135 yards of offense

Great game by both teams tonight. I think whoever witnessed the game would agree that Wellston was the much better team and dominated Alex up front on both sides of the ball. #11 from Alex is a great athlete, but just wasnt enough. Wellston's game plan looked awesome and I think it just shows you about how you can get different views and opinions on in conference teams with a strong and weak non league schedule. I honestly believe wellston would have beaten Alex 9 of 10 times by the looks of tonight. Wellston was playing some man to man and loading the box with blitzers and alex had no answer, and alex had no answer for wellston's total offense. Good luck to both teams!!!!

very nice....good win for Wellston! Hate to say "it ain't so" when ppl said that Alexander hadn't played anyone. I mean this win makes them look pretty bad after Athens absolutely had their way w/ wellston.

Im not a genius and dont claim to be but im pretty sure Athens hasnt played Wellston yet. Considering this was the 2nd tvc game this week and Wellston played NY last week and Alex tonight. But if youre making predictions for future games, Nelsonville absolutely had their way w/ Athens. :122245

uhh yeah, small type-o there on my part. Whoops! And yes Nelsonville handled Wellston all the same as I think Athens will. But my point here is that people so far had tried to stress that Alexander's competition wasn't that great; and it showed tonight.

I figured that was what you meant just tryin to get you goin. Level of competition does make a big difference a 3-3 team is better than a 6-0 team when you compare oppenents and it really did show tonight. Athens will have their way with Wellston by as much as they want. Cant wait for week 10 this year. Goodluck until then.

Big win for Wellston.
I'm thinking Alex is toast as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Alex would have had to go 10-0 to make playoffs. 9-1 with only losing to NY or Athens with a bunch of the other top 10 teams losing 2-4 games apaice

Alexander's strength of schedule is #716 in the state, which is from what I gather, very few away from the worst schedule in the state of Ohio. And yes, their playoff hopes are gone.

well, now you know how, and, i cant wait to hear your lame excuses.
they were beat by a team that knows how to prepare before they start league play.

congrats to wellston
sometimes you gotta take a few on the chin in order to get the knockout.
also congrats to wellston for advancing to the no. 8 spot in d4 r15 with a 4-3 record.

well alex is one of the elite few.
6 wins and still on the outside looking in.
i think only 5 teams in the whole state have 6 wins and have not broken the no. 8 spot.
Think much? If so, I would consider doing something that may serve you better.
Alex's point total puts them in the top eight in all of the remaining D V regions as well as two of the D IV regions.

heeeeeey yooooduh

not no moooooore

as i stated (in a facetious stile) strength of schedule does play a very important role in the outcome of any given season.

do you think much?

Holy Crap!!! I guess I don't really know other numbers to compare that to, but that is pretty low. Sometimes it pays off to play some good teams and get knocked around a bit if it prepares you for league play.

How did Alex have 7 refs last night? Thought the max was 5?
