I think the point of bringing in coach Dean was to change things up a little.
2 TE's power-I and run it up the gut on 3rd and 8 is what he has done since he got here.

Now don't get me wrong I like coach Boston and think he is a great coach, but they can't keep doing the same thing every year and expect a different result. We made a great effort to throw the ball week 1 and I really hope that they continue to throw the ball the rest of the season.

well i didnt get to see piketon play ny last year but i hear they have some size,, ive also heard their not as fast as trimble and their running back aint no dyla so that all could be a plus for ny. we do have speed and indurance and can wear defences down, ny will mix it up for sure in this game and if their is no turnovers on our part i think we will allright. plus its at our house they will be pumped gobucks

If Ny plays like they did in the last 5 minutes of the Trimble game then this game could get ugly for Piketon. If not then it will be a close game. Prediction NY 22 Piketon 13

I feel if ny line plays good the buckeyes will win by a couple scores.I know one thing for sure IF NY gets on top Piketon will get rattled easy .Keep the pressure on BUCKEYES.I seen piketon a couple times and its happend both times.

Piketon better get young Helton under center or it is going to be a long year. Miller needs to be running the ball and focusing on D, don't think QB is best use of him.

Over the last 3 years at least you would be hard pressed to find more than 3 games where they threw the ball at least 14 times!!!!!

On the Piketon QB thing, dont know what the backup is capable of but Piketon's QB and their running back were the only players I saw in the Waverly game that stood out at all. Also their fullback made a great catch on the sidelines. Granted ... hard to evaluate individual linemen during all the action of watching a game live but seemed like the QB and RB were scrambling for their lives! Not much protection and recievers seemed unable to get open.... tough job for a new QB. I say it's way to early to be talking such a shake up! Just my opinion.... :-D

Buckeyfaithful, thank you for saying that. Everyone hates to lose but it is one game and 9 more left. Miller has been biding his time and will get better with every snap. This is a time for the Streaks to be coming together, not hearing about change! Lets Go Streaks!

Piketon by a TD or 2
TVC struggles against anyone outside of the TVC.

Nelsonville-York (Ranked #2 in the TVC Power Poll)

A 'WIN' might get the Bucks into the #1 Spot...
A 'LOSS' will cause them to drop probably to mid-level ranks...

I was a former runningback (Athens '00-'03)
And, with being a RB, I know one thing...game on the line I wanted the ball...

Look for NY's RB (Arnold) to control this game...
NY gets him goin' and they will come away victorious...

(?)That's my KEY to victory for NY this WEEK ...

=Go TVC Go=
