Ah and the rejects start showing up. At least learn how to quote posts on here so they are easier to read.
Ah don't spend my life on here talking crap and posting 2000+ times. Lol. Typical reject huh? Who did u beat in HS when u played? Forgot nobody. Lol lol lol. How many homecoming games did u play in?
1.) Yes
2.) many
3.) 4

I am seriously laughing out loud at you. You are that bad. I refuse to even respond to you from here on out or even recognize your very existence. LOL!

The kicker was a 10 th grader and the team that threw the ball and was running sweeps was the JV team not the varsity. JV kids want to score and deserve to do well, not let up. Take the butt kickin and move on.

I don't have a problem with a butt kicking from a superior team, that's what happened tonight. But I don't care if its the dang 7th grade team, when you're up 34-0 in the 4th you run between the tackles. If you still score a TD good for you no harm no foul. There is a right way and a wrong way to do things. I don't expect Shaffer to bow down to Minford, He is their coach and should do everything he can to win a game, but I do expect him to treat people that stood by him for 20 years with some respect. He made a fool of himself tonight.

The most shocking thing to me was the behavior of Coach Bob Shaffer. Calling a timeout with 5.2 on the clock before halftime with a 27-0 lead is one thing, I understand you have to work on the hurry up throwing the ball at some point.

But being up 34-0 late in the 4th quarter and running sweeps wide right and left and dropping back to pass is the worst sportsmanship I have ever seen, top all that off with an onside kick after the last TD and there you have it. Shaffer was my principal at Minford and I USED to think a lot of him. He came to speak to the football team on different occasions when I played, I USED to count him as a friend. He also was very good to his students, I thought he was someone young guys could look up to, I was wrong. Bob Shaffer is a gutless pig. He should be ashamed of himself for the way he acted tonight. To make things even worse it was against boys that he knew personally. Every guy on that team had him as a principal in high school, I'm sure several USED to think of him as highly as I did. To treat the school that stood by you for 20+ years like that says something about your character.

There is no excuse for the way he acted. I also can't beleive we had a few coaches shake hands with him after the game. The few coaches that shook his hand owe the Minford team an apology come Monday afternoon. Talent comes and goes, we had it, now we don't have as much. You have to take your beatings when you're down, but I hope this is one that no one in Minford will forget for a long time.

OH GOD, QUIT UR darn CRYING!!! AND BTW the kick at the end of the game wasn’t an onside kick, it was wet for one, incase for some reason you were unaware?? Two, it was a Sophomore kicking off!! If they wanted the ball back so bad, why did he take a knee right afterward?? People like you kill me, just cause he was your principal and knows some kids....u want him to just bow at you and abandon his team to satisfy you!?!?!?! YOur lucky I wasn’t coaching, because all the hype that was brought into this game I would have hung 50 on you! The Coaches shook his hand outta RESPECT!!! SPORTSMANSHIP they took it like men! Suck it up....They took a whoopin!

I agree.

I would even say Shaffer could have taken a time out before the half when Minford was punting the ball to save some time and to try to score again. Nothing but class!!

The JV players need game experience period and need to work on their plays. When people call off the JV games week after week these kids get bored and they get no experience running plays against other teams. Coach Shaffer showed nothing but class tonight. He could have scored 50 or 60 if he kept going to the air.

It's a lost cause with some people. Good luck to West, they have a very good team.

Will not suprise me a bit if they roll into the playoffs at 10-0 with a Gold Football in their hands.

Minford will reload, and SOON. They have a few really good classes coming up.

The kids from West who are seniors now were very dominate in Jr High and JV. Their line play is really good.

The worm will turn again.

Seriously was you even at the game? When the JV offense is in the game don't you feel they deserve to play hard and try and score. When you played or if you played and got in the game as a sophmore didn't you want to try and score. Those boys practice as hard as the starters and should be able to show what they can do. Futher more it was like a monsoon tonight and the boy who was kicking off slipped. Under no circumstance was it an on side kick. I guess Eric Grey got it right on the radio when he said that people would be crying trying to make it out to be more than it was. Maybe would should have stayed in the locker room would that have made you happy. Talk about poor sportsmanship why can't you just say good game and move on instead of crying and bad mouthing a coach for let his younger boys whose parents set through the same down pour as his starters parents did get a chance to play under the lights on friday.

JR high football is fine and it has it's purpose, but it in no way determines success on the high school level. 7,8,9 grade is about a class. 1 class. High school is about 3 classes. The 8th grade team from West has several kids who are gonna be really good in high school including several big linemen. When they mesh with the classes around them, they will be fine.

Wow.

As has been said. The kicker fell on his butt and the ball went hard into the ground hitting a minford kid in the second level. Yeah, great onside kick.

As OSU77 said, West should have called timeouts before the half to get the ball back with more time. Up 27-0, it would have been very legit.

I have been to high school games for years, and nobody runs exclusively between the tackles up 34-0 with the JV in. Nobody. That's stupid. The JV kids earn a right to play. That's how they learn. Quit crying.

Great game by West. They are the real deal. Tackling, speed the Senators had all night. Keep your heads up Falcons. Regroup and pull it together and get a much needed win next Friday for a homecoming match with Northwest. A moot point right now, but score correction the final score was 40-0. It is listed several places 44-0, but the score was 34-0 before the last touchdown by the JV's was made. Only another score with a field goal would make it 44-0.
