Wellston got off to a slow start in a weird game from the start. Vinton Co. scored 14 pts on special teams in the first half . Then scored a late TD to keep it close.A win is a win. The Vikings had as much return Yards as they did on offense .They returned a punt for a TD and Blocked a punt for another. Wellston had a strong running game again with Three backs carring the load.
Next up Athens at home .

first game i got to go to i work on friday nights so this was fun. vc is small and look week, but they did have big farm boys on the lines but they look slow. it was funny it took a vc kid to beat vc, he look good when he play probably should play more.

Vinton County got off to a quick start having a 14-3 lead. Had another couple of injuries, which the Vikings absolutley cannot afford. The lack of depth and five turnovers doomed the Vikings, but the coaches had a great game plan and the kids played their guts out. Good luck to the Rockets.

Kenny , Jaylen just come back from a injury thats why he only played a little.He wouldnt have even run the ball if it hadnt been to injuries to our running backs.You also dont give enough credit to how the Vikings played.We knew they would give their very best against us .
