I see an absolute barn burner for Friday night coming. I just hope that all the kids from both schools are healthy. The FLU is running wild at all area schools. I don't think that anybody for either side wants to hear about how this kid out or that kid out kept whomever from winning the game. I say again I hope ALL kids are healthy and bring it Friday. Good luck to both teams play hard and leave it all on the field. Go Siders.

I think the Rock will be packed this week...might be a lot of people standing, might not be enough seats

Don't worry about the record fellas. It's not about winning and losing; it's about being able to know that you gave 100%. Concentrate on the conference, and the playoffs will take care of themselves. Get ready to beat West and to keep dominating your way to an SOC Championship!

Okay, all fans going to the game, buy a program and study the front cover. Look at the faces of the young men. That's the look of champions of the past. Then look at the team picture inside, you will notice many similarities, mostly the look of a SENATOR! 14 time S.O.C. champs.

is the flu affecting west or minford this week? i know ky has been hit hard, even postponed some games. wheelersburg has recently been hit --they still are having kids out of school and football practice/games. it has been mostly in the lower levels but has creeped into the high school as of late.

I hear West will be honoring the 20 year anniversary of Minford's 1989 squad at halftime.

Minford's playoff odds are hanging in the balance this week.
According to the odds over on the "puddle", they've got a 29% chance of making the playoffs with 7 wins.

Why should Minford lower their goals. Don't you tell children to set their goals high. For them to be hard to reach those goals, and when you make it to the top of your goal it tastes so much sweeeeeeeeter! Minford has realistic goals, and when we fly down and pluck you out of the croud (after we beat West), we will hear you scream all over Scioto County. LET"S GO FALCONS !!!!!!!!BEAT WEST!!!!!

Come Friday it is all irrelevant. Play the game...

BTW, since when did West become a thriving Metropolis. I guess the Shawnee State Forrest is equivalent to New York's Central Park. ;-) There are only two football teams from the city. The rest of us are proud country hicks.
