Jackson is a great place to watch a game and I look forward to watching the game no matter what music is played pregame.

What I love is that when jackson has been winning their games everyone is impressed...But boy when Ironton is coming to town no one is counting jackson in for this one. As long as Jackson's Defense shows up, Jackson's offense can score points either running or passing. Jackson just has to shutdown Ironton's off tackle play that's their "Bread and butter". However I also seen them hit a huge pass the other night which surprised a lot of people. This game is going to be a good one Im not going to lie, but with this being senior night and with the heart that I know Jackson's seniors has they are not just going to hand this game over. I see a close one Jackson-17 Ironton-14

Have you read this thread? There are alot of folks who think that, not only can jackson play with ironton, they can/will win.

My prediction is Ironton 27-21 in a hard fought game.

Paladin? Ironton hasn't been handled easily by anyone this year. One barely escaped with a victory, only taking the lead with four and a half minutes left in the game. And this was a perennial Division II power house who regularly lays waste to other teams in the playoffs!

I try not to make predicitions, because those can often come back to bite you. I will say that this year's Ironmen Team is just that, It is a Team. I don't believe that we have the "one" standout athlete, but we have a whole team of boys just getting the job done. Every week we have had different people coming to the forefront to make a great play, or step up when needed. I like the feeling that this has created. This week will be a big test, but I feel our boys are up to it.

TTT,

Gee keep openng the doors. you make it way to easy to answer your attempts at rebuttal. of course well .....it is always easy for me.

First 59 yards passing a game this late in the season is ONE dimensional.

The game I saw Ironton play they had no passing attack. In fact did not attempt a pass until under 5 minutes to g in the game.

Jackson has an excellent kicker. i do not think Itown wants this to come down to a field goal contest.

I am a BIG fan of the Tigers. When the Tigers win Logan gets more computer points. Thanks boys.

Jackson has been more balanced offensively this season, but they still favor the ground game. However, Wandling is completing 63% of his passes and has been able to keep defenses honest all season. Jackson is certainly comfortable running or throwing the ball.

The Jackson defense has been pretty good against the run, but they gave up a lot of passing yardage to Marietta and Waverly. Jackson's run defense will have to be at its very best against Ironton this week to get the job done.

Probably Jackson's worst defensive performance of the season, in my opinion. If they play D like that against Ironton, it's going to be a long night. The Ironmen were a little beat up going into last week, and I think they were a little flat after the rivalry game with GAHS, but Marietta played them very tough. Jackson should be healthy this week, and I imagine they will be very focused with Ironton coming to town on Senior Night.
