Pat "the assin" Angle
has almost 2000 yds passing just this season.
over 201 passing attempts
almost 150 completions
just 5 int's
almost 20 passing tds
6 rushing tds
65% comp rate
avg 210 yds per game
not sure how many records he owns now.
not to mention his team has not lost but a playoff game while he's been at qb.
this kind of player doesn't come around every often.

"not to mention his team has not lost but a playoff game while he's been at qb."

That's about all that needs to be said in the situation.

Allan has not made Parkersburg better, they've only beaten the teams they would have beaten without him.

sorry RAIDER and nothing agains this young man, he is a great player and probably the best lineman in the league. But really, lets get serious, he's not gonna be a runner in player for the year. These running backs and recievers are the only ones who get looked at for this and we all know it, between stats and yards....again nothing against the young man he's a tremendous player, but when has an O/D lineman won player of the year :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Clay Cameron did a lot Friday night to cement himself as a sure fire top 3 for this award.

3 rushing touchdowns, 1 passing touchdown & scored on a interception.

8-13 for 135 yards passing

20 carries for 204 yards.

Oh, did I mention this was all against Sheridan?

shouldnt matter whether a player has won it before or not. judge them on the current season.

IMO I don't think they should show WV games. Why because lets be honest if a WV team came in to Ohio and tried to play a team from what many people think is the weakest part of high school football in Ohio; WV teams would get stomped on. Belpre played Williamstown I think two years ago and they ended there 56 game regular season winning streak or something like that.

Wasonga is a beast, its unfortunate his team cant stop anyone.

Angle and Cameron are the total package.

I thought the show has been great this year. The SEOAL has so many storylines. It is top heavy Logan,Jackson, Ironton, Warren and Portsmouth all with winning records.

The MVL you dont know what your going to get every Friday night.

The TVC Ohio with Alexander beating NY and NY beating Athens and Athens Beating Alexander.

Makes for great TV and The Gridiron Glory crew has not disappointed. They cover the best games every week. Apparently if you want to be a game on tv than be a great team and not a 0 for team. Plain and Simple.

Of course Logan Grad would think all they do is cover MVL. I think he is still bitter after the 2007 game when Tri-Valley came into the Hilltop and gave Logan a real game. lol. MVL is king.

I reside in Duncan Falls which is where Philo is located in case you were wondering. And let me tell you these teams are legit up through here. Sheridan lost 20 starters from last year and Culver just reloads and he has only lost two games that speaks volumes. Philo has been on twice all year but I realize were not going to get on until we are going toe to toe with the likes of a Tri Valley and a Sheridan year in and year out.

I have not read any of the other posts, only the title of this thread and I will say with great confidence that the winner will either be Wasonga or Cameron, or possibly even a tie. I say this because it is quite obvious that GG favors the MVL and Parkersburg over any of the schools that are closest to their campus. The highlights week in and week out are lopsided in favor of the MVL and the West Virginia Schools. Sorry to say but I don't think Angle or any other players from the SEOAL or TVC have a chance.

Still waiting for offers as far as I know.

He may not be a quarterback at the next level (although I think he can play there) - but whoever gets him, even if it is a D2 school, will get a late steal. Reminds me of when Donnie Johnson couldn't get offers in 2003. He went on to have a pretty darn good career at Tiffin. To think he couldn't have contributed SOMEWHERE at Ohio University is insane.

Chain_Gang -

Hate to burst your bubble, but Logan Grad wasn't even living in Logan in 2007. He was living up in Dublin wish kids playing football up there.

Tri-Valley had a great team in 2007, maybe the best the school has ever seen. Logan had a nice team and a great season, but it was hardly an "all-time great" team.

To base the MVL/SEOAL debate on that one game is short sighted. I could easily site the 2001 game when Logan went to New Lex and beat Drew Cannon's Panthers despite losing over 20 seniors from the season before. But that would be just as silly.

Two great leagues, no doubt about it.

ok not just one game your right. Chilli lost to Sheridan last year and Ironton lost to New Lex last year.

I agree with you they are both great leagues all I am saying is that GG is putting the best games on. As much as it may be a highlight reel for Angle when he plays Marietta GG won't put it on.

WV is just one game out of the 7 or 8 that they do so I dont think they spend 10 minutes on it. Probably more in the area of like 2 minutes. Agree that its 2 more minutes than they deserve to be getting, but what can you do.

Locos I understand he wasn't down here during that time im just saying he was arguing that GG favors the MVL and WV. I was joking about being upset about the 2007 game.

That game was a classic though. Back and forth; last team with the ball was going to win. Thats what the playoffs should be.

Hey Chain gang - if the MVL is so tough why wouldn't they ever let Zanesville in the league?

Seems to me the SEOAL wasn't afraid of the challenge.
