great game by Portsmouth tonight, and a good season, way to turn it around from a 1 and 9 season last year.

second wek in a row we had a pretty long road trip "not as long as last week", and we just about out numbered the home stands again...good to see the trojan fans going to the away games.....

Great job Trojans on a great season!! You have nothing to be ashamed of. To the 9 seniors we lose your work ethic and heart will greatly be missed and I hope if this young team takes anything from you is the heart you all played with. Best of luck on your future endeavors. Congrats to Josh Myers on joining an elite club and maybe the first in Trojan history?? 1,000 rushing and passing from the Trojan QB. Great year and can't wait to watch this group next year! Thanks to the coaches for all the time they put in and especially Coach Clifford who has had a stressful year but still manage to put in time with the kids. Continue to work hard and success will come. Good luck to all the local teams and SEOAL

here about 4 or 5 games ago it was said on here that some players quit the Portsmouth team and that seem about the time they really started playing good ball.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KIDS AND COACHES FOR A VERY FINE SEASON!!........To turn around from 1-9 to 7-3 doesn't happen that often.......and with all the kids coming back for the 2010 season, I think Portsmouth has an excellent chance to win the SEOAL and........possibly challenge for the Final 4 and.......even play for a state title.

I'm looking right now at a 9-1 or just maybe a 10-0 season for Portsmouth next year.......of course we will have our challenges along the way, but if the kids put in the work between now and then, it could happen.

But for right now, I really enjoyed watching the 2009 Trojans play.........best wishes to all the seniors and their future plans.

Very good season for Portsmouth Trojans...... Looking forward to 2010 it could be special..... Must stay focused and work hard..... With a veteran team, Trojans can work on being more consistent against fundamental teams i.e Burg, Ironton, Logan......
