New Post Game Radio Show
New Post Game Radio Show
Word on the street is that there will be a new show for football and basketball. It will start this basketball season. All of the discussions will be mostly about knitting, crocheting and wine making. There will also be trivia segments that are questions from Ohio States pre 70's football and basketball national championship teams. Teams of people will be sent out to the games to set up knitting and crocheting tables and have all kinds of contests that include bringing in gradma's best patterns, and a wine tasting segment. Non alcohol of course. The players and games will be mentioned, but mostly as an after thought. The emphasis will be on the people that go to the games. Not much time wasted on the actual games or players. Reportedly Howard Cosell will be one of the hosts, and he is looking for another SEOPS personality to work with him. I think this is a great idea. Maybe Howard will ask me to join him.

I owuld love to host a show but this idea osunds like the one already in place. I think we need a new idea. How about a post game show where we interview fans and discuss their lives and what they do for a living and for fun...
Re: New Post Game Radio Show
It's your show Howard, so what ever you want to talk about. Just don't mention any scores, or game highlights. If you talk to or about any players it has to be unrelated to football. Kind of like the show we already have that everyone loves so much. There is so many people that love that show that its clear we need another one like it.

Maybe on the basketball post game show we could highlight the kickball team from Trimble. Didn't Duck coach this team? Maybe he could be our first guess and tell us all about the KenDUCKY Derby........

Re: New Post Game Radio Show
Any thing but scores, or game details. Apparently there are some that don't want to hear anything like that. So if you are going to compete with the current show you have to be just like it in that respect.

Why would anyone on a post game show give scores? I see no reason for it.

Come on, I thougt you guys were smarter than that?
Maybe we need a butcher to conduct the show!!!!

Someone said GG is going to be at the Logan game filming tailgaters and concession stands. No time wasted on game, team or player coverage so I might just have to tune in.

I even the mods are very tough on this. If they are doing a cooking show I have a great recipe for roasted turkey! Ha! Ha!

I like the trivia.
They show talks about the players and coaches and gives the scores alot, what else do you want? If they talk about tailgating why do you care?

Re: New Post Game Radio Show
Yes they do talk about how much the players eat, and what kind of cook the players moms and dads are. So I guess by technicallity you are right about them talking about the players.
But giving the scores once every hour and a half is not giving them a lot, so I cant give you that one.

Re: New Post Game Radio Show
Maybe we could get a segment where the sponsors for the show can tell about there business. You know, let Joe the Plumber explain how to unplug a toilet....I ma sure the average fan would really appreciate that kind of stuff.
Re: New Post Game Radio Show
Yes I think fans just get tired of all the game talk. Especially the scores and details of the games. Who cares who won, or who had how many yards or any of that. That stuff is stale. We need to hear about as many things unrelated to football as we can. Spice the show up a little. We have to out do the 107.7 show, so I say fight fire with fire.
