ironton won't be looking past anyone, i think we got that out of our system, against ashland, with a game the following week with logan. we forgot to hold on to the football. and it also cost us the logan game , turnovers. since then , we have handled the rock, and taken care of business. so we are not in the least concerned right now, with coshocton, who has all ready been on here, saying when we play them, we'll understand what real football, and real running backs are, pul-eeze. even our fans know better. if you beat us, you'll have earned it, nor are we concerned with amanda clearcreek. see , we don't play either of those teams this week. we play heath. and i hope the big cats , claw the dogs a new rearend. if not, we've been beat before. we can take it.

I agree...Ironton don't overlook anyone..Lutz doesn't allow this...he will have these kids very ready come game day...they will be eating breakfast together..most likely...and then a nice afternoon meal...(usually Steak) on Saturday...and they will have their fill of Heath before the game starts..they will know what is coming at them before the coach calls out the play...that is one thing that lutz is good at is preparation...and each player will know what to look for to decide what they are going to be doing on each formation and movement...there is much more to playing Ironton than just lining up and playing football...get ready...cause They will be ready.

For anyone to underestimate Ironton...to me is Ignorant...ask Youngstown Mooney...they once underestimated Ironton...and now they have the utmost respect...as we do them too...

I am a proud resident of Southern Ohio. There are, have been, and will always be fine young men and women who will represent our area proudly. Unfortunately, many have moved to other areas to further their careers. We don't need to fuel the fire of those up north by acting in a manner they see as "hillbilly".

Heath really isn't a Northern Ohio town. Central Ohio would be the best description. And these boys are no stangers to "hillbilly" country living. Take a look around Licking County and you will see.
