My first post on this site. We made the trip to NY and had a great time. The Tigers met a very good team and managed to come out on top! Looking forward to next weeks game as i know our host NY will make everyone feel welcome at their very nice field! By the way, we had dinner at the Coffee Cup in NY and loved every bite. Go Tigers!!!

First post here after coming over from the puddle... i think ironton needs to play better had they want to advance... i also think heath was a great warm up for them because coshocton is very very quick. ironton can and i think will win this game, but they will have to score when they get the opportunities to do so and make sure the defense can get off the field on third downs. Good luck to both squads, this will be a heck of a game and no matter which team wins they'll give whoever they happen to play a run for their money in the state semis.

"I Bleed Purple", quit crying about Logan not getting the game...lol.... NY has great facilities and the stands were not filled to capacity on either side. Bathrooms do need a little upgrade, thats a given, seeing how they have the same problems there when they play during the regular season.. All though, I do believe that with Ironton being the visiting team for the matchup, NY better bring in some extra stands to hold more on that side, just make sure the last one out of Ironton turns the lights out...:)

Good Luck to Ironton, I had a good time sitting with your fans... Would have been better if the little "rainbow lady" would have taken a swing at "I Bleed Purple" when he was commenting on her girlfriend...lmfao

We'll be there early to tailgate hopefully...

Nah, wasn't me, I went with one of my friends here in Logan...We kinda pick on each other seeing how I live in Logan and I'm a die hard NY Buckeye fan and he is a die hard Logan Chieftain... But its all in good fun...

Although, again, it would have been fun to see that little lady in the stands beat up my buddy for commenting on her girlfriend...

But Tiger Man, we will be down early to NY to tailgate with the rest of the tiger fans, we got there a little late last night and barely had time to heat the grill, cook and eat...before we had to high tail it into the stands....lol

How about a little love for fellow SEOPS posters. Where can we meet up? I'd love to say hi to some of the Ironton faithful. Was at the Heath game but didn't talk to any Ironton folks.

VERY LOW RESOLUTION video from last night...just a little preview thingy...if you listen carefully, you can hear Turk's voice! it was hard to keep it off the video. At one point, I understood what the Water Gate people went through going through Nixon's tapes...

...also, it gives you a little peek into how pretty Boston Field is as well

Good Luck ITOWN!! GET ER DONE!! Get as far as you can and u fans WHOOP IT UP!! I love the TIGER program, its very good. Defense, keep the game close, READ!! All about reads against Coshoctons offense. Multiple hand offs in the backfield, quick hitters then they burn you with the long pass. HAH, trust ur Dline to stack the offense and give it to ur linebackers to make the plays. DONT give up the big play!! Good luck to fans and players of the tigers. I hope you guys come away with the WIN!

Heath didnt compare to the crowd the Burg came with. Coshocton would fill the stands and go 3 deep at NY.

Multiply handoffs in the backfield and a quick pass....that was the last time Heath got to touch the ball ;-)

Travel Distances:
Coshocton High School to Nelsonville-York High School = 79.22 miles, 1 hour, 55 minutes
Ironton High School to Nelsonville-York High School = 97.15 miles, 2 hours, 2 minutes

By my math - traveling nearly 18 additional miles in only 7 additional minutes = 150 mph and either a speeding ticket or a wreck!
I'm not complaining - all the comments I heard about the N-Y facilities were very complimentary - and I won't be doing the drive. But I don't get the math in the above equation!

You have to take into account the speed limit on the roads that are traveled. Just looking at those numbers, I assume that the Coshocton people will have better roads to travel than the Ironton fans. Having said that, those totals come from mapquest.com and mapquest is not known for being an exact science.
