Here is a few viewpoints on the game from me...

We have to...

a. Hold on to the ball. We cant win a regional final ballgame turning the ball over.

b. Play with emotion. Last game, Heath seemed to have more emotion than us.

c. Do not surrender the big play. They seem to run a lot of gadget plays, so we cannot give one up.

d. Have a big play of our own. Whether it is a 70 yard TD by Preston, a Wilks punt return, or a blocked punt...We need one, IMO.

very good observation 45. my biggest thing , is burning these teams that stuff 11 in the box, use the wide side of the field more, play action, dump passes to tight ends, misdirection, and getting the ball vertically down the field on passes, that will loosen up stuffing everybody in the box, and then we could run at will. but most of all no turnovers.

I agree 100%. Gotta control the ball and Gotta hold on to the ball . Practice bear hugging a football this week. Go tigers continue to make us proud.

yes, we've discussed this at length. we lost a game on a very controversial spot by an official in 99, with state championships in 79, and 89. it just feels like good karma this year. i'm pretty sure we can pull this off , if we take it one game at a time. and don't turn the ball over.

The Power of Ten.....I believe these boys have a great attitude...I do however feel that they need to get a little more emotion...I know these kids were focused..but they need to get more fired up...like wetzel...boy he is always fired up...that is how they should be...it's a regional championship...whoever has the most heart at this point stands a good chance in winning...

I'll tell you what - without those two [the J & K Express] as our Ironton Fighting Tigers broadcasting team calling the action I would never be able to translate "heard" into "written" as I try to do. They really do SAY all the INFO - time, down, field position, names - on a steady, regular basis without a lot of "editorializing"!
And I also really appreciate the sponsors who don't demand that their names be mentioned every 30 seconds or so and allow J & K to "call the game" first and foremost.
