The fan's seem to know more than the TVC coach's! Him getting screwed by the coach's seems to have helped him get more vote's with the fans!
Great job Derek! No one is more deserving!

Congrats to Mr. Arnold. His defensive play must have been the definitive factor.

With that said Pat was the best player far and away in seo. And the best rb on the list was the Wasonga kid. Just wait a couple years and see who is being productive at the DI level.

If you dont vote you give up your right to gripe about elected officials. Same here. If you didnt vote dont wonder how it could have happend.. I think they have computers now even in hocking county. I didnt hear anyone asking to vote for their player. Need to get the word out about your person. I think the TVC must have out voted the other leagues at GG's website. Could possibly be Tyler Dyla next year.

Has anyone ever won this award from a school as small as NY?????

I was thinking back, and typically it seems to be kids from bigger schools (which typically means more votes) that win the award.

The SEOAL and the MVL which are made up mostly of schools bigger than the TVC have done really well with this award in the past.

I have no point, I'm just curious ;-)

You might wanna go reread who was saying it should have been Patrick..nobody from Logan was complaining about it. ;)

Just like Presidential Elections, the most qualified doesn't always get the win. The most votes at that particular time WINS! I'm not saying Derek isn't good, but Patrick proved himself with better numbers against more talented teams.
I feel Derek's award is deserved, because he IS good. And GG says he got the most VOTES! Congrat's. to a fine individual. Pat can share his awards!
As far as D-1 productivity (mentioned by another poster), a scholarship and Education is most important. If Pat doesn't take his Football offers, he will most likely have the option of one of many academic Scholarships.
Good luck to all, and to all a good Off-season for SE OH.

I forgot to mention the Compliments I have heard about Derek's "Off-the-Field" Conduct. Again, Congrat's.

Congratulations to Derek Arnold but Pat Angle's stats were ridiculous this year. Sorry but Angle should have received the award hands down.
