Mr. Baldeagle,

So if I read your post correctly, you will admit that Coach Rose was head coach in 1981. Thanks, but you are correct in all of the other coaches, I can't remeber the exact order. Eastern has dominated the series from the SVAC,to the TVC. Even the years in which Southern was thought to be decent. Several years the score ended up with totals like 66 to 6, etc.

As far as Ironton, we have not had the power of Ironton but for a small divsion 6 school there have been a lot of very good years, and a few down years. I am not wanting to argue with anyone but this site is to discuss sports. So with that Baldeagle and I-town posters, I will refrain from any type of undesirable conversations.

P.S. I live on Eagle Ridge, I am not from Racine, I am just trying to relive my fun experiences from high school, like everyone else that posts.

Go Eagles!

Just thought I might add some factual information. Since 1995 the series is 9-6 in favor of Eastern. 6 of the Eagle wins were in a row from 00-05 but Southern did win 4 in a row from 96-99. It would be interesting to see how much Eastern leads the all time series by.

The best thing about this game is it signals the end of football and the beginning of the real Eagle sport each year. The worst thing about it is that it provides yet another chance for a good Eagle basketball player or two, (which is two to many as far as I am concerned), to get injured before the real season starts. Stop imitating me.

I can sense a turn around in this battle. Maybe a run like when I played. We never lost to Eastern. Anyone know what the all time record is in basketball? Bet Southern leads that one.

Well I can truely say I never lost to Eastern or Southern. For about a 6 year stint there, I use to even say neither one could beat the other without me.

Get your facts straight. I never lost to either one until Clay Enslen decided he wasnt going to be blocked my first year at eastern under Christman. So I have lost in that game once.

I forgot about that one. We should have won that one, but old dumbarse wouldn't listen to me. He learned the next year to listen to me and JE. That is when the program really took off. The other coaches was just there for the ride.

Thanks for the kind words!
